What happened on 9/11? I see alll these people have anniversary, but no one ever says what they are celebrating.

I just wanted to know what to not forget about 9/11. Every year around this time for as long as I remember, my mom and uncle get all sad like and hold each others hand and vow “never forget”. But they won’t tell me what not to forget.
I thought this place was full of boomers and old people who remember lots of stuff and know things. I just wanted to find out what happened at 9/11. Why come no one will tell me. I can’t find it written anywhere. And none of the monuments or T-shirt’s say what I’m supposed to never forget. I hate you old people.
Those places are boring and i left there because no one will telll me WHAT about 9/11 I’m not supposed to forget. That’s why i came here. Maybe you know of a book or a drawing or something. I’m afraid of my uncle who gets real mad when i ask him… he just screams back at me to “NEVER FORGET”

You don’t get it, grandpa. It’s NOT “everywhere”. And I have tried digging, ya coal miner. And millennial are even stupider than you think. I’m only 18+. I was born 2002. All the things i find about 9/11 talk about Iraq and Afghanistan and people who hate freedom. It’s clear that America really hates freedom so why do they hate America? It makes no sense.
Funny, we do that same marching eye formation at my SPDC (that’s Social Playtime Day Camp to you old people who don’t know about such cool stuff).
I’ve tried loads of documentaries… none of them will tell what it is. It’s just lots of sad people crying and and sad music, and slow motion vids of people hugging.
