When I was in basic training some trainee bought a leather jacket at the BX with a big ole' Gi Joe patch on it. The drill sergeants had him pack everything he had into his duffle and march up and down the stairs while they screamed at him.
Nearby I was standing in formation, feeling sympathy pain while they shouted at him, but then one of them screamed
"Are you an all American HERO!? DO YOU LIKE PORK CHOP SANDWICHES?!"
I actually laughed in formation but they were too preoccupied to notice.
