The Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center has decided that he wants to influence the 2020 election and help Joe Biden.

FOX News reported that the Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center Bill Evanina on Friday revealed information on threats from foreign countries in the 2020 election:

Ahead of the 2020 U.S. elections, foreign states will continue to use covert and overt influence measures in their attempts to sway U.S. voters’ preferences and perspectives, shift U.S. policies, increase discord in the United States, and undermine the American people’s confidence in our democratic process,” Evanina said in a statement.

Bejing prefers a Trump loss because Chinese officials view him as unpredictable, Evanina wrote. China has been expanding its attempt to influence the General Election and shape U.S. policy, by pressuring political figures Chinese officials view as opposed to China’s interests, he said.

Then Evanina said:

… the intelligence community assesses “that Russia is using a range of measures to primarily denigrate former Vice President Biden and what it sees as an anti-Russia ‘establishment.’”

Louie Gohmert: ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Is Reason Leftist Big Tech Companies Censor Breitbart News

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said in an exclusive interview on Thursday that big tech companies censored Breitbart News because of Trump Derangement Syndrome. They objected to a video livestream of a press conference during which licensed medical doctors and a congressman discussed hydroxychloroquine.

Last week, Gohmert tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Gohmert told Breitbart News that he has been recovering quite well and remains in high spirits. He said he was prescribed hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, Zinc, and Vitamin D3 to help treat the coronavirus.

“Well, plenty of rest and all of the drug regimen including the hydroxychloroquine, the Z-Pak, Zinc, and Vitamin D3, as well as a steroid nebulizer to protect the lungs, and I’m just amazed at how well I’m doing after just a week. I mean, I’m feeling pretty good,” he stated.

“I got a fresh perspective from having been through this,” Gohmert said.

Gohmert also said that “as soon as [he] can,” he will donate convalescent plasma to help others obtain coronavirus treatment.

Gohmert shared that he finds it ironic that so many leftists in the media, Silicon Valley, and Congress want to dismiss hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for the coronavirus after President Donald Trump floated the idea.

“After 65 years of being one of the safest drugs out there, after being approved by the FDA, there is just such strong Trump Derangement Syndrome that if the president recommends something, that some people are determined to go the other way,” he said.

Last week, Breitbart News posted a video of a press conference held by the group America’s Frontline Doctors and sponsored by Tea Party Patriots during which some of the doctors discussed hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment and/or cure for the coronavirus. Facebook, Google, and Twitter removed the video, claiming it violated their policies against spreading misinformation about the coronavirus.

Gohmert said this assault on free speech underscores the need to address big tech censorship and that under a Joe Biden administration, there would only be more censorship.

“Yes, you [Breitbart News] were censored by non-doctors who were politically motivated, and it just points to the fact that we have got to do something about the biggest IT tech leaders because they are doing more damage to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of people to see and hear what they wish than Russia could ever possibly do in the country,” Gohmert said. “It’s going to be addressed, and I’ve talked to a number of the doctors that were involved in that, and they were extremely gracious. Fortunately, the high tech leftists have not been able to prevent me from talking to the doctors that have done a tremendous amount of research, unlike those in our leftist high tech industry. They haven’t done the research; they just hate Trump and hate conservatives.”

“If Biden were to be elected, it would be the end of our free market system, and we will see censorship that would have never been in North America. You will see censorship from the alt-left media, previously known as the mainstream [media],” he said.

Gohmert said he has called for Republicans and conservatives to “step up” and get involved to prevent a Biden presidency.

Counterintelligence Report: China Prefers that Trump Loses Election

William Evanina, Director of National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC), issued a report on Friday which concluded his agency believes the communist Chinese government prefers that President Donald Trump does not win reelection in November.

“We assess that China prefers that President Trump – whom Beijing sees as unpredictable – does not win reelection. China has been expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020 to shape the policy environment in the United States, pressure political figures it views as opposed to China’s interests, and deflect and counter criticism of China,” the report reads.

The report also found that Russia is attempting to “denigrate” presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden.

“This is consistent with Moscow’s public criticism of him when he was Vice President for his role in the Obama Administration’s policies on Ukraine and its support for the anti-Putin opposition inside Russia,” the findings read. “Pro-Russia Ukrainian parliamentarian Andriy Derkach is spreading claims about corruption – including through publicizing leaked phone calls – to undermine former Vice President Biden’s candidacy and the Democratic Party. Some Kremlin-linked actors are also seeking to boost President Trump’s candidacy on social media and Russian television.”

Furthermore, the NCSC found the Iranian regime seeks to “undermine” U.S. institutions and President Trump’s agenda and to “divide the country in advance of the 2020 elections.”

“Iran’s efforts along these lines probably will focus on on-line influence, such as spreading disinformation on social media and recirculating anti-U.S. content. Tehran’s motivation to conduct such activities is, in part, driven by a perception that President Trump’s reelection would result in a continuation of U.S. pressure on Iran in an effort to foment regime change,” the report said.

China’s anti-Trump stance comes as little surprise.

Biden has repeatedly downplayed the notion that Beijing poses a threat to the U.S., while his, Hunter Biden, has cut highly lucrative deals with Chinese firms — even while his father was vice president.

“We talk about China as our competitor, we should be helping and benefiting ourselves by doing that,” Biden told supporters in Ames, Iowa, in January. “But the idea that China is going to eat our lunch — It’s like I remember the debates in the late nineties — remember Japan was going to own us? Give me a break.”

In 2013, Hunter Biden’s investment firm scored a $1.5 billion investment deal with the Bank of China just days after he traveled with his father to visit China.

Portland's Mayor Partially Defunded Cops in June. Now the Bodies Are Piling Up.

In June, Ted Wheeler, the mayor of Portland (hereby known as Antifastan) knelt before the rioters of Black Lives Matter and agreed to fire his brand-new white female police chief in favor of a black male lieutenant and cut the cop-shop budget by $7 million. The cuts included the dissolution of the gun-violence reduction team (GVRT).

He said the money would help fund new programs for “communities of color.”

Now the bodies are piling up.

The Portland police union, which has given Wheeler and all of city hall a vote of no confidence, has run the numbers on what this political defunding is doing to the public safety of Portland.

In a news release, the disgruntled officers report that the number of homicides in July alone more than doubled the number of murders for all of 2019. The number of homicide investigations underway is the highest in three decades.

In July alone there were 15 homicides compared to 31 homicides in all of 2019.

There were 99 verified shootings in July 2020 compared to 35 in the same month last year.

There was a total of 388 shootings in 2019.

At the end of July 2020, we are already at 376 shootings year-to-date.

Of the 99 shootings last month, there were 38 victims shot (34 males, 4 females, 25 Black, 4 Hispanic, and 9 White).

For reference, Portland has averaged approximately 28 homicides per year in 2015-2019.

Portland Police Send Scorching ‘No Confidence’ Message to City Hall: Stop Defending Antifa

The police sent along a graph to make their point.

Wow. That’s quite a straight line up. That’s a lot of bodies in those “communities of color.”

Portland Police Association President Daryl Turner claimed that Wheeler’s ego is getting in the way of public safety.

It is time for the Mayor to support the Portland Police Bureau and the community and fully reinstate the GVRT before more blood spills on our streets. It is time for City Council to set aside their self-serving agendas and egos and correct this terrible wrong before more die from this senseless violence. It is time for our elected officials to keep Portlanders safe and stop the knee-jerk reactions that look progressive when, in fact, they could be costing lives. And it is time for our leaders to consider that statistics do not matter when mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters are being gunned down in unprecedented numbers. The dissolution of the GVRT left a void, the result of which is a rise in shootings; to pretend otherwise is negligent.

It is crucial to recognize when a mistake is a mistake, to learn, and then to change course and move forward and be better. Policing is ever-evolving along with the needs of our diverse communities. We are committed to a partnership for police reform and change. But when cutting costs is costing lives, it’s a mistake.

Wheeler has cycled through five police chiefs since he assumed office in 2017. Not only is there a dearth of leadership on the part of the mayor in his role as the police commissioner, but he has also taken an oath to protect the people of Portland and has obviously failed at that as well.

Antifa runs the streets of downtown Portland—within view of his office. He allows them to clog the streets, preventing people from moving freely. Wheeler allows the mobs to harass and threaten citizens, burn police buildings, statues and a variety of other things with impunity and then has the temerity to blame it on federal officers.

Thursday night, antifa rioters assaulted two citizens, elderly women, who tried to stop the mob from setting fire to the East Precinct. They were attempting to do the job that Wheeler forbids his cops to do. Wheeler has said nothing about these assaults.

The police commissioner/mayor did sound concerned when antifa mobsters blocked doors and tried to set fire to the East Precinct, but failed to note it was a police facility. He appealed to the mob to stop trying to murder people – not because he was concerned for the safety of his police officers or citizens – but because it would have political ramifications by making President Trump look good by comparison. Oh, yes he did. You might want to let that piece of information settle in your gut for a minute.

Wheeler has allowed antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters to take over the streets of Portland, forbidden police to use certain crowd-control techniques, and failed to mount an effective defense of the police in court.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t? US intel director warns all election outcomes may be driven by Russia, China or Iran

If President Donald Trump wins reelection, it’s likely the Russians’ meddling, but if he loses, it’s the Chinese or the Iranians’ doing, according to a statement by the US National Counterintelligence and Security Center.

Warning Americans that “foreign states will continue to use covert and overt influence measures in their attempts to sway US voters’ preferences and perspectives,” NCSC director William Evanina revealed on Friday in what direction the US’ rivals wanted to swing the vote.

The answer? ALL OF THEM.

China, Evanina said, “prefers that President Trump – whom Beijing sees as unpredictable – does not win reelection.” Noting that Beijing has been critical of Trump’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic (which the president has blamed on China) and behavior regarding TikTok and Huawei (both of which Washington has sought to exclude from the market), the director explained that China was “expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020.” Washington’s decision to shutter China’s Houston consulate wasn’t very popular back home either, he added.

So all anti-Trump material can be pinned on Beijing? Not quite. Iran wants to “undermine US democratic institutions, President Trump, and to divide the country” ahead of November’s vote too, Evanina announced, suggesting the Islamic Republic’s work would focus on “online influence, such as spreading disinformation on social media and recirculating anti-US content.” The Trump administration’s “maximum pressure” campaign against Iran was, he suggested, driving them around the bend.

So, if Trump wins, he’s defeated the nefarious plots of the Chinese and Iranians? Alas, Evanina warned, Russia is “using a range of measures to primarily denigrate former Vice President Biden and what it sees as an anti-Russia ‘establishment.’” Whether by releasing Biden’s “leaked phone calls” via Ukrainian politicians, or fluffing up Trump “on social media and Russian television” (which apparently has a greater reach than CNN or the New York Times), the Kremlin, the NCSC director declared, wants four more years of Trump.

Evanina was rather vague on how, exactly, the nefarious foreign powers would be guiding Americans’ hands in the voting booth – or how much resources each country was devoting to swaying the all-important US election – but his point seemed to be that they were all doing it, and that Americans had better be vigilant if they wanted to keep their democracy safe.

What’s a voter to do should they desire not to do the bidding of an evil foreign government, but still want to participate in the election? Evanina attempted to reassure worried Americans that intel agencies are “doing everything in [their] power to combat both cyber and influence efforts targeting our electoral process.” Presumably Americans will be told who to vote for to outwit those dastardly foreigners in short order.
