Couple that with his islamist upbringing, his real dad being an islamist cult leader and you cross anti colonialism with islamism. The result is that obama views the destruction of the ottoman empire as the result of racist colonialism. the european nations defeated the ottoman turks and set up nation statesvwith strong central governments to prevent the ottoman empire from returning.

What obama did with arab spring is to weaken or destroy the middle east and north african nation states. These failed states were then taken over by isis seeking to establish a stateless caliphate. These caliphates would then be rolled into a new ottoman empire or easily fall to a turkish invasion.

The antichrist erdogan is eager to become sultan of the new ottoman empire. Erdogan covets damascus. Damascus is a stepping stone to Jerusalem. Then north Africa. But, turkey cannot advance because it is blocked by syria.

That is the plan obama was working on. His plan to decolonize the middle east and north africa.
