My understanding is that the Fed W/H tax is the one he is suspending; although I have not seen anything yet to confirm that. I'm sure guidance will be forthcoming by Monday for all employers and accounting/tax professionals.
There would be little to no benefit from suspending the Soc Sec or the FICA taxes…they both go into specific programs…
where the Federal W/H goes to the various federal programs run by …. our "elected officials". (Which means all the funds that they give to themselves and others specifically to hurt us and hurt our country.)
I could be wrong, but if the motive is to let us keep more of our earnings while at the same time cutting off the cash flow to organizations, leaders and countries around the world, the Federal W/H tax would be the one to cut. Also, that has been the "illegal" one according to a dig done months ago regarding "fruits of our labor" and so forth.
