Interdasting digits, 916, considering the observatory was closed on 9/6. I wonder what kind of p0rnographic images the observers saw on the suns surface that merited a complete shutdown and confiscation.
The wikipedia page for the carrington event used to say that carrington saw a pussy er um i mean cat on the surface of the sun on september 1 1859… 80 years to the day before hitler invaded poland… but thats all been scrubbed from teh interwebz so i cant prove it
