Isn't that what all of us are? Incarnated extraterrestrials? I believe this as a Christian and I think it is a Biblical understanding. We are heavenly beings in physical bodies atm, nothing more, nothing less.

 

I am "seated in heavenly places" in Christ. I think this is some sort of physics paradox or something of that nature. If you are "saved" you are already (outside of time) seated in heavenly places. Perhaps this is why we are told, "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son..".

 

This is also, what I think "election" is in the Biblical sense. There are some people who are destined to be "saved" as in they are not yet visibly manifesting the fruits of salvation or professing Christ, but in actuality (outside of time) they are already "saved".

 

I have not grasped all of this (in an earthly sense) but this is my forming understanding.
