This is a problem- only the county or state election officials should be sending out absentee ballot request forms.

I just received in the mail an absentee ballot request for my county for the November election from this organization:

Center for Voter Information, (CVI) a 501(c)(4) organization.

However, a little search led to this from my official county auditor:

XXX County Auditor XXX said his office will send every registered voter an absentee ballot request form before Election Day as a safety precaution against the potential spread of coronavirus.

That's a few too many apps floating around. The official request comes not from the CVI.

NO outside organization should be allowed to send out absentee ballot requests in my opinion. Only officials of the county/state voting offices should do so, whether as above or preferably, only by request.

This is another way to muddle up an election.
