The State Department objected to all questions, instructions and definitions posed to Rice in Judicial Watch’s court-ordered deposition and “does not recall” almost everything else, including conversations with Clinton.

Cops Raid Missouri Hotel & Find Counterfeit Money Operation

BRANSON, Mo. — (News Release / BPD) — The Branson Police Department arrested six people and discovered drugs and money counterfeiting operations while serving a search warrant on multiple rooms at the Metropolitan Motel, located at 300 Schaefer Dr, on Sunday, August 9, 2020 around 5:30 a.m.

Branson Police developed information from proactive enforcement efforts that led to this search warrant. The Branson Police Department along with the Taney County Sheriff’s Department Special Operations Team served this search warrant. A wide assortment of drugs and firearms were seized along with evidence of a counterfeiting operation. The Secret Service, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Branson Police are assisting with this investigation.

Six people, including a member of the motel management, were arrested on a variety of charges and transported to the Taney County Jail. Branson Police are communicating with the Taney County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and Missouri Probation and Parole on the charges.

This investigation aligns with the City’s efforts to hold motel management accountable for safe lodging. As a result of this

The thing is that so far, these bio-engineering attempts have been defeated by the God-given power of human immunity as far as the body human to defeat them. Unfortunately, the co-temporal attempts to subvert our minds with fear and oppression have been relatively successful, since we have yielded to the “educational” component of the assault.

The sales plan today is to use this fear to sell “anti-virus” to humans directly, even though we have the strength to do without if we simply seek correct nourishment, mental and physical fitness. Clearly, other industries are compliant, in order to degrade this innate human drive for fitness.

Andy Ngo, editor-at-large at The Post Millennial, unveiled Antifa's horrific tactics at a Senate hearing on Tuesday. He warned that Antifa has turned rioting into "an art form" in Portland and that the far-left agitators are likely to spread to cities across America.

"Antifa and its allies have made rioting an art form in Portland," Ngo testified. "Unless we take action, what is happening in Portland today will soon be happening in cities across the country."

"Even when they aren't starting fires, using explosives, and trying to maim officers, they leave threatening messages such as decapitated pig heads outside the courthouse," he insisted. Indeed, while the violence in Portland appears to have abated somewhat, threats like a burning pig head have continued, along with fires set near the federal courthouse.

Ngo castigated left-leaning journalists for ignoring the violence. "Unfortunately, too many in the media have chosen to ignore or downplay this extremism masquerading as racial justice," he said.

Although this journalist himself faces many threats from Antifa and has indeed suffered at their hands he dared to speak out against Antifa, explaining the rioters' violent tactics in his testimony.

City of Sydney councillor Robert Kok advising 'pro-Beijing' group linked to Chinese Communist Party

A Sydney senior councillor has declared he is advising an organisation with links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), once headed by exiled Chinese billionaire and political donor Huang Xiangmo.

Veteran City of Sydney councillor and former Deputy Mayor Robert Kok reported his involvement with the Australia Council for Promotion of Peaceful Reunification (ACPPRC) on his register of interests.

The organisation actively promotes the "reunification across the Taiwan Strait" and "peaceful development" across the Asia Pacific, which some academics labelled as quietly operating in the interests of Beijing.

The long-time member of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore's team declared his association with the organisation to the council in September.

But details only came to light last week after enquiries from ABC News over why council had not published its registers of interest, as per transparency regulations.

City of Sydney Council has since published all registers on its website.

The documents also revealed Councillor Kok's 2018 trip to Nanjing and Hangzhou which was partly sponsored by Chinese authorities.

The revelations come amid a crackdown on foreign influence in Australia and growing tensions between the two countries.

Links to 'pro-Beijing' organisation

An Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) hearing last year was told the ACPPRC was a "front" operating in Australia in the interests of the Chinese Government.

The organisation was recently headed by Chinese billionaire Huang Xiangmo, who was banned from Australia by the Home Affairs Department last year due to concerns among security agencies about his links to the CCP.

Clive Hamilton from Charles Sturt University (CSU) said his research suggested it was one of the most active "pro-Beijing" organisations outside of China.

"The Chinese Communist Party has the United Front Work Department whose precise task is to carry out overseas influence operations in the interests of the [party]," he said.

"It is a political organisation operating in Australia operating on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, it's as simple as that.

"This organisation is directly linked to it, is guided and at times directed by the central body in China."

Beirut Explosion Lays Groundwork for Regime Change Push

However the explosion started, it looks like it’s only going to end one way.

It’s been three days since the explosion that destroyed a large part of Beirut’s port district, and though the cause is still unclear, the political fall-out is taking shape.

The official story is that nearly 3000 tons of Ammonium nitrate, stored in the warehouse there for nearly 7 years, was ignited by a fire. Early reports were of a fireworks shipment, that has since been refuted.

Although this seems improbable, and the details about the Russian ship abandoning its cargo so long ago almost too convenient, there’s no direct evidence, so far, that it is untrue.

The lack of clarity has seen speculation run rampant. Some people have suggested the explosion was some new technology or even a nuclear device. We have seen no evidence to support this as yet, and the independent scientists we asked told us the visual evidence was consistent with a nitrate explosion.

Some videos claim to show something – perhaps a missile – landing. But video evidence is easily doctored or misattributed. CNN has reported the video was altered, but “what CNN says” and “the truth” rarely intersect, and if they do it’s accidental.

For its part, the Lebanese government seems to be panicking, having already placed sixteen people under arrest and frozen the bank accounts of various local government officials.

In short, we don’t know exactly what happened yet, or who is to blame. But we do know what we’re being told to think, and how the press reports the story, and what agenda they pursue on the back of the incident, is almost the more important issue.

Today has seen protests on the streets of Beiruit, seemingly a peculiar response to what is reported to be a simple industrial accident, but it’s also an extension of the protests which have been off-and-on since last summer. Maybe tellingly, these on-going protests have never featured on Western front-pages before now.

The Guardian has an opinion piece, published yesterday and headlined “Lebanon is no stranger to disaster – but this is like nothing we’ve ever seen”. According to the author Kim Ghattas, the people of Lebanon are angry, this explosion was the last straw:

How much more can one country and one people take? Is this a turning point? And if so, towards what? Full revolt and true change for a new beginning or total helplessness and defeat?

…which makes them essentially a paid representative of the US State Department. This is a clear indication of where this is probably going.

Elsewhere in the Western press we’re being told that the people of Lebanon are angry, over and over again. And the Guardian reports that rioters are being beaten and tear-gassed.

Emmanuel Macron was touring the city, and we’re told that crowds chanted for him to “do something” and “help us”.

Sky News reported:

a crowd gathered around him and shouted their anger, using slogans including “revolution!” and “the people want to bring down the regime”

Reuters has already called it a “revolution”.

Are these protests organic, or being stoked from the outside? It’s hard to say, but only somebody willfully naive could discount US or NATO involvement at this stage.

That a blast which, though destructive, resulted in relatively little loss of life could so quickly escalate into political unrest, and even the phantom suggestion of regime change, seems unlikely.

So, whatever the cause of the explosion, it’s certainly being seized as a political opportunity. And, historically speaking, it’s very rare the US doesn’t have some hand in creating its own opportunities.

If this is a push for regime change, it is an oddly timed one, given the state of the Covid19 narrative. Perhaps sign that a distraction is required, or perhaps a sign that some people in the heart of the deep State are sick of his “pandemic” BS, and just want to do what they do best…unseat governments and steal resources.

Whatever shape this fallout takes, spare a thought for the people of Lebanon. Because no matter how it starts, crowds on the streets demanding NATO members “take action” never ends well for the Middle East.

Top state official caught using 'doctored' chart, data to push face mask mandate

'Governor Kelly and her administration have failed Kansans time and again'

A top Kansas official is facing criticism after he was caught using a "doctored" chart to justify face mask mandates.

Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Lee Norman presented a coronavirus case chart to the media last week to contrast Kansas counties abiding by Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's mask mandate and those that have not, The Sentinel reported.

Norman claimed that counties abiding by the mandate are "winning the battle," suggesting that counties that have not followed the mandate are losing.

"All of the improvement in the case development comes from those counties wearing masks," Norman said, The Sentinel reported.

However, Norman's claim only appeared true because he manipulated his chart to create the allusion that counties following the mask mandate are successfully warding off coronavirus.

Norman used an axis with a range of 15 to 25 to describe the number of new cases in masked counties and used a range of 4 to 14 to describe the number of new cases in counties without a mask mandate, making it appear as though counties without a mask mandate had more cases. When the two sets of data are placed on a chart with the same axis, counties without a mask mandate have fewer new cases per day than counties with a mask mandate.

As of last week, the vast majority of Kansas counties — 90 of the state's 105 — rejected the governor's face covering mandate because so few people in the state have contracted the virus.

Overall, fewer than 1% of Kansans have tested positive for COVID-19.

Kansas Republicans are now speaking out about the lack of transparency from the governor's administration.

"Governor Kelly and her administration have failed Kansans time and again, but manipulating data to intentionally deceive the entire state is a new low," Kansas House Majority Leader Dan Hawkins, a Republican, said, The Sentinel reported.

"Tens-of-thousands of Kansans have lost their jobs and businesses as a direct result of Governor Kelly's politics-first response to the COVID pandemic, and these individuals struggling to make ends meet deserve to know the truth. It is reprehensible for a public servant like Dr. Norman that we trusted to protect our health and safety in a nonpartisan way to intentionally spread misinformation," he continued. "The Kelly administration has lost all credibility."

Woke NASA to Rename Celestial Objects That Are 'Insensitive'

Bureaucrats at the space agency NASA were feeling left out of the new Woke America so they decided to manufacture a “controversy” over the “insensitive” names of celestial objects and bodies.

The agency will drop the names of a couple of obvious examples of insensitivity and pour over the International Astronomical Union catalogue looking for more.

“As an initial step, NASA will no longer refer to planetary nebula NGC 2392, the glowing remains of a Sun-like star that is blowing off its outer layers at the end of its life, as the “Eskimo Nebula,” NASA said in the statement. “Eskimo” is widely viewed as a colonial term with a racist history, imposed on the indigenous people of Arctic regions. Most official documents have moved away from its use.”

NASA also said that they would stop referring to a distant galaxy as the “Siamese Twins Galaxy.”

“NASA will also no longer use the term ‘Siamese Twins Galaxy’ to refer to NGC 4567 and NGC 4568, a pair of spiral galaxies found in the Virgo Galaxy Cluster,” the statement from NASA said. “Moving forward, NASA will use only the official, International Astronomical Union designations in cases where nicknames are inappropriate.”

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is nuts. A couple of hundred people may have heard of the “Eskimo Nebula” and a few more have heard of the “Siamese Twins Galaxy.” I suppose two or three people were “offended” by the “insensitivity” of the terms, but why should we overturn the astronomical catalogue based on a couple of obscure scientists’ complaints?

Next thing you know, the American Philatelic Society will start renaming stamps.

Nicknames are often given to celestial bodies and are often referred to by them rather than their official names, such as Barnard 33, also known as “the Horsehead Nebula” because of how it looks.

If you’ve ever seen the Horsehead Nebula you know it’s spectacular. But it’s also an insult to horses because it doesn’t really look like a horse.

So it’s OK to treat our four-legged friends with disrespect? Shame on NASA.

“I support our ongoing reevaluation of the names by which we refer to astronomical objects,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate at Headquarters, Washington. “Our goal is that all names are aligned with our values of diversity and inclusion, and we’ll proactively work with the scientific community to help ensure that. Science is for everyone, and every facet of our work needs to reflect that value.”

There are a lot of celestial objects named for women. How is that inclusive? How does that represent diversity? Are there more objects named for women than men? Are they seeking to objectify women? How dare they!

Pandora is the name of the moon of Saturn. It is named after the first woman endowed with gifts of gods in Greek mythology. The Pandora box contained all the evils of the world. So if you can look past its strange connection, the name means ‘all gifted’ and sounds charming.
