I dissociate their symbolism from "pizza" and "owls" and "red shoes" and hot dogs, and plaything else they decide to pervert. It's not the owl's fault people projected symbolism upon it. Ditto for pizza. So I can still eat pizza with out problems. However I cannot watch pro sports or disney or any hollywood movie with kids in it.
