There was a TV program post-9/11 showing off the tech available then that they would acknowledge. One of the things that was described is the ability of a satellite to read a postcard in someone's hand, and they mentioned in that context that that was all they were going to reveal about capabilities. Now we got tiny spy insects.

I suffer serious cognitive dissonance when looking at the past and present together. When I focus on recent events, the logic hangs together, I have no choice but to sit here and watch the outcome, anyway. I'll hope for the best and participate in the info bucket brigade.
