Death defying, mutilated armies scatter the earth,

Crawling out of dirty holes, their morals, their morals disappear.

Yesterday a morning came, a smile upon your face.

Caesar's palace, morning glory, silly human, silly human race,

On a sailing ship to nowhere, leaving any place,

If the summer change to winter, yours is no,

Yours is no disgrace.

Ghislaine Maxwell complains about US jail as Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner fights to stay out of lawsuit

Maxwell is asking to be moved out of solitary confinement and into New York jail’s general population

Court ruling involving Victoria’s Secret founder could spill more Jeffrey Epstein dirt

Ghislaine Maxwell, facing sex-trafficking charges of underage girls tied to her former boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein, said she is being held under “onerous” conditions at a federal jail, including weeks of extra scrutiny under suicide watch.

Maxwell is asking to be moved out of solitary confinement in a Brooklyn, New York, lock-up and into the jail’s general population so she can prepare for trial. She was recently taken off suicide watch, according to her lawyer.

Ms Maxwell is being treated worse than other similarly situated pretrial detainees, which significantly impacts her ability to prepare a defence,” her lawyer Christian Everdell said in a letter Monday.

Also on Monday, Leslie Wexner, the billionaire founder of L Brands, was revealed to be facing a demand for questioning by Alan Dershowitz in a court fight between the Harvard law professor and Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre.

In Maxwell’s case, Everdell says she has been confined alone for the entire 36-day period she is been at the jail since she arrived there July 6

Hillary Clinton Allegedly Covered Up Elite Pedophile Ring As Secretary Of State

A NBC News video that recently resurfaced claims Hillary Clinton, while serving as secretary of state, intervened and subsequently shut down a disturbing investigation about a pedophile ring that involved high ranking officials and ambassadors at the State Department.

During the report, the NBC News anchors, along with journalist Chuck Todd, provided State Department memos to prove the massive cover-up happened.

“Some serious allegations this morning facing the State Department,” Matt Lauer, the former host of Today, announced.

His co-host Savannah Guthrie continued:

“That’s right. According to internal State Department memos, the agency might have called off or intervened in an investigation into possibly illegal and inappropriate behavior within its ranks allegedly to protect jobs and avoid scandals.

“This concerns a time when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.”

Gold in secret vault is traced to Hugo Chávez’s former nurse

MIAMI (AP) — It was 2014 and Venezuela’s former treasurer Claudia Díaz was looking for a safe haven to store the unexplained wealth she had accumulated over the years. Then-president Hugo Chávez, who she once served as a nurse, had recently died and with the election of Nicolás Maduro, the nation’s politics and relations with the U.S. were in tumult.

So Díaz allegedly turned to one of the oldest ways of moving vast sums of money anonymously: buying gold.

In quick succession a shell company established in the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines that she allegedly controlled purchased 250 gold bars valued at more than $9.5 million, according to court records from Liechtenstein obtained by The Associated Press. The bars, weighing a kilogram (2.2 pounds) each, were allegedly stored at a private vault in the tiny European principality available to Díaz and her son after his 18th birthday. A few years later, a nearly identical amount of bullion was apparently sold by a representative of Díaz, with much of the proceeds deposited into a Swiss bank.

Half a million incorrect absentee ballot applications sent across Virginia, including to dead people

“Approximately half a million applications sent to eligible voters in Virginia included incorrect information, and we are working diligently to address the issues,” says the Center for Voter Information.

Anon-profit group says more than a half-million inaccurate applications for absentee ballots were mistakenly sent across Virginia this week — including to dead voters, errant relatives and even a pet — in an unprecedented mailing flub that has heightened concerns about the integrity of expanding mail-in voting efforts.

The mistakes raised alarms with recipients as diverse as election monitors, members of the League of Women Voters and a retired FBI agent. The Center for Voter Information, the nonprofit group that sent the mailers with pre-filled absentee ballots, is now apologizing.

The Center for Voter Information said the absentee application mailings were sent to "eligible voters" in the state and "some of the mailers may have directed the return envelopes" for the absentee applications to the wrong election offices.

Brent Scowcroft, US force behind first Iraq War, dies at 95

Brent Scowcroft, an arms-control expert and fixture of the U.S. defense establishment who worked closely with President George H.W. Bush to muster the multinational force that routed Iraqi forces from Kuwait in the 1991 Gulf War, has died. He was 95.

Scowcroft died Thursday of natural causes at his home in Falls Church, Virginia, according to the Associated Press, citing Bush spokesman Jim McGrath.

A specialist in Russian affairs during a long career in the U.S. Air Force, Scowcroft served as national security adviser to President Gerald Ford, from 1974 to 1977, and to the first President Bush, from 1989 to 1993. He earned a reputation as the rare Washington hand who valued discretion over publicity.

Two wars against Iraq, 12 years apart and led by father and son U.S. presidents, defined Scowcroft’s views of the appropriate use of America’s military might.

After Saddam Hussein’s forces invaded Kuwait in 1990, Scowcroft was among the first to make the case inside the White House for a military response. “I never had any faith in sanctions, and I don’t think the president did either,” Scowcroft recalled in a PBS “Frontline” oral history of the Gulf War.

EMPTY COFFINS – EMPTY HOSPITAL – Brazilian MPs Expose Biggest Covid-19 Hoax Known To Date

Members of the Brazilian parliament decided to confirm suspicions and break into a hospital that claimed to have 5,000 infected & 200 deaths from COVID-19, and found that the hospital had grossly over-represented the cases and its claims. There was in fact not a single person, they report, and the hospital was entirely empty and was obviously still under construction.

Acting on a tip that something was going wrong at this hospital, five members of the Brazil parliament went to hospitals under encouragement by president Bolsonaro to break in & check to see the number of patients there.

RevContent InArticle SOLO

This hospital was not even finished, but claiming it was treating 5000 people with COVID-19 while 200 were already dead. Officials broke in to check the claims and found the hospital is an absolute mess, not finished, and no patients.

The governor is apparently defrauding the state and the nation along with the citizen taxpayers, and lying about the stats. This is possibly an embezzlement scheme to help bring down the country, and to push vaccines based upon inflated numbers of Covid related deaths

“Financially Devastated” — 83% Of NYC Restaurants Unable To Pay July Rent

The state of the New York City restaurant industry is in dire straits. July proved to be another disastrous month for restaurants, bars, and nightlife establishments across the city with a majority unable to pay rent in July, a new survey found.

NYC Hospitality Alliance surveyed about 500 owners and operators of eateries in the city, with 83% of respondents indicating they couldn’t pay the entire rent in July while 37% paid no rent at all.

“Restaurants and nightlife venues are essential to the economic and social fabric of our city, but they are struggling to survive and absent immediate and sweeping relief so many will be forced to close permanently,” said Andrew Rigie, executive director of The Alliance.

“While complying with the necessary pause, our industry has been uniquely and financially devasted. Small businesses urgently need solutions from government leaders at the city, state, and federal level, inclusive of extending the moratorium on evictions, extending the suspension of personal liability guarantees in leases, pausing commercial rent taxes, providing landlords with needed support, and infusing small businesses with enough cash to weather the storm,” Rigie said.

To make matters worse, 71% of owners and operators said landlords “would not waive portions of rent due to COVID-19.” About 61% said, landlords “would not defer rent payments,” while 90% of landlords “would not formally renegotiate leases.”

Taiwan's foreign minister says China trying to turn island into 'next Hong Kong'

China is trying to turn democratic Taiwan into another Hong Kong, the island's foreign minister warned Tuesday as he met with a senior US official making a historic diplomatic trip.

A crackdown on dissent in Hong Kong has gathered pace since China imposed a sweeping security law on the financial hub in June, with opposition politicians disqualified and activists arrested.

The security clampdown has caused alarm in Taiwan, a self-ruled island of 23 million people that Beijing claims as its own territory and has vowed to one day seize, by force if necessary.

Disappointed to see Jimmy Lai & other pro-democracy activists arrested, further eroding #HongKong’s freedom of the press, the rule of law, human rights, & democracy. #Taiwan along with democracies around the world will stand with #HKers who fight hard for values we all cherish. pic.twitter.com/6suW14WK2P

Ropes & Gray backs behavioural science trend with new data analytics consultancy

Regulators increasingly touting behavioural science as a way for businesses to improve corporate culture

Ropes & Gray is launching an analytics and behavioural science consulting practice amid a growing recognition among US and UK regulators that data-driven insights can help improve compliance and corporate culture.

R&G Insights Lab is a cross-industry consultancy service that will provide advice on multiple areas, from corporate and investment strategy and decision-making, to compliance, ethics, and risk management. The project is being co-led by partners Amanda Raad and Will Rosen, and new recruit Zach Coseglia, who joins from Pfizer as head of innovation and the Lab’s managing principal.

Raad, who also co-leads the firm’s anti-corruption and international risk practice, said: “R&G Insights Lab is a complementary offering that will position us to more holistically fulfil our advisory role to clients across industries and sectors. The focus on analytics and behavioural science, in particular, is intended to help our clients make more effective, efficient and data-driven decisions to fulfil the desired outcomes.”

The firm said the creation of the Lab follows feedback from companies and investors around the world that there is a lack of integration when it comes to legal, compliance, and behavioural and data science.

One compliance officer at a global life sciences company said successfully combining data analytics and behavioural science theories and applying them to operational issues would allow businesses to solve problems instead of being “in a reactive mode and putting on band aids.”
