I listened to, I believe, most of the Flynn Hearing and had to go out. The video was taken down in a matter of 30 minutes.

Things started kind of rough, but were actually sounding good by the time I had to break away.

The fact the video is down has me thinking it went ok in my absence. What's the concensus?

I listened to all of Jefferey Wall speak for the DOJ and he is one sharp mother fucker.

If you ask me, Powell kind of got her ass kicked. Probably due to the fact she's not government. Jefferey Wall refuted all the judges response very well and even entertained their bullshit 'hypothetical' situations. One of the judges even had him answering questions of a case he would be expected to rule on shortly. I thought that was kind of fucked up, but Wall was careful to point out that the fact of the Flynn case were in no way similar to his question.

Sarah's article emphasizes what Powell did, but from what I heard Jefferey Wall did most of the tough arguing. All in all, I think Flynn will be done after the next hearing.

Basically one of the judges said, if Sullivan tries to compel new evidence or ask for explanations for the DOJ's decision to drop the charges, Powell can just deny the request and the only place to go after there is dismissal. Flynn will have to wait for the next hearing, but it will be over after that.
