If Hollywood is indeed the ruling class of elites that shape and forms "most" (not all) of what the public is willing to believe YES. Birth records are falsified, adoptions made, grooming done and planned careers are fostered through people like H. Weinstein etc. and the big studios. The whole thing is a show, not just what is seen on the big screen but even the background story. It's like all the photographers who are paid actors to sit out side a stage door on Broadway after the show to give validation that both the actor and the show itself are worthy. He who pays the most photographers/actors wins public opinion herd mentality of thinking something is good despite your gut saying it's trash etc. The world as we know it is truly a stage. One layer of deception upon another to create such a complicated maze that the mind will easily accept the falsehood before continuing to search for the truth.
If gene editing is at the stage in which people are cloned, one can only imagine the horror of failed experiments that took place to get to such a point. CRISPR Cas9 and GeneDrive have potential to cure many illnesses but like anything of power it is only as noble an ability as those who utilize it.
