“These Are Good Public Health Behaviors” – NM Tyrant Governor Announces She Will Keep COVID-19 Practices in Place Even After Pandemic

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is now saying she’s going to keep the COVID practices in place even after a vaccine is available. Grisham says, “These are good public health behaviors that will prevent the spread of influenza.”

New Mexicans are enlisting legislators to call for an extraordinary session. Here’s a post from NM Extraordinary Session Facebook page (posted August 8 at 2:31 pm):

“This week, the Governor stated that she wants to continue all of her current restrictions whether we get a COVID vaccine or not.

She said: “Let’s hold these behaviors beyond the vaccine, because these are good public health behaviors that will prevent the spread of influenza, that will prevent the spread of colds… we should start thinking about this as the right public health path forever irrespective of COVID.”

Let’s be clear about what that means.

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s orders have been made under the auspices of her executive emergency powers. The NM Supreme Court has upheld her orders because of that interpretation. Only in a crisis could an elected official get away with shutting down places of business, schools, churches, and declaring gatherings of 5 people or more a violation of the law.

That’s because under any ordinary circumstances, these orders violate the constitutional right to freedom of association.

(Governor Grisham notably made exceptions to her own rule for mass protests this summer, but has made no such accommodation for public gatherings of groups she disagrees with. The fact is that it’s the constitutional right of any group of people to publicly gather and peacefully protest, and no elected official should be picking who is allowed to exercise their rights and who isn’t.)

So why would the Governor imply that she intends to suspend the right to freedom of association indefinitely?

All this statement tells us for sure is that the Governor’s intentions are to not lift these restrictions, regardless of COVID case numbers.

The President called fired FBI Director James Comey and former DNI chief James Clapper “dirty cops” and slammed former CIA Director John Brennan as a sleazebag and “wacko.”

Lawyer: Ghislaine Maxwell Taken off Suicide Watch in New York Jail

Ghislaine Maxwell — the alleged longtime madam of deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — has been removed from suicide watch and seeks to be transferred to the general population of the Brooklyn jail where authorities have held her since early July.

The National Post reports:

In the latest of a number of challenges, her legal team has now asked Judge Alison Nathan to see that Maxwell is placed in the general population area of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre. She has been taken off suicide watch, her lawyers say, but she is still forced to undergo round-the-clock surveillance as well as a number of searches per day.

Her team says she is enduring “uniquely onerous conditions,” is being ”treated less favourably than a typical pretrial detainee,” and “has been confined alone in an area outside of the general population (of inmates) for the entire 36 day period … and there is no indication that this will change.” She has been forced to wear clothing, they say, which marks certain prisoners as being suicide risks.

The lawyers say she is watched, via closed circuit cameras, by “multiple prison guards, many of whom do not appear to be regular (Metropolitan Detention Center) personnel. These prison guards observe Ms Maxwell and take notes on her every activity.”

Maxwell was jailed in MDC Brooklyn without bail since July 2, when she was arrested at her New Hampshire home for allegedly enticing minors to engage in illegal sexual activities. The 58-year-old faces up to 35 years behind bars if convicted.

In late July, a federal judge in New York approved the unsealing of documents from a now-settled 2017 civil lawsuit against Maxwell brought by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre.

Maxwell is said to believe Epstein was murdered in his jail cell and fears she could meet the same fate, a family friend of the alleged madam told The Sun. “Everyone’s view, including Ghislaine’s, is Epstein was murdered. She received death threats before she was arrested,” the former friend also revealed the British tabloid paper.

Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10th, 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. He was taken off suicide watch by a doctoral-level psychologist prior to his death, which was ruled a suicide by hanging.

President Donald Trump: Big Tech ‘100 Percent’ Wants to Control Information Americans See

President Donald Trump told Breitbart News during an Oval Office interview on Monday that big tech companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter are “100 percent” trying to control the flow of information to the American public.

“Yeah, 100 percent,” Trump said when asked if big tech companies like Google and others are trying to control what information people see. “Do you have a doubt?”

That moment came after Breitbart News laid out for the president how Google has essentially turned off search traffic to the publication and other conservative news outlets for anything about his general election opponent former Vice President Joe Biden. A Breitbart News investigation published in late July details how Google has radically diminished search traffic to conservative outlets like Breitbart News since the 2016 election.

“The tech companies are very dishonest about that and about free speech,” Trump told Breitbart News. “It could be a big problem for them at the appropriate time.”

In 2018, Breitbart News published leaked internal video of senior Google executives discussing the immediate aftermath of the 2016 presidential election. In it, the Google executives said they intended to make Trump and the movement that helped elect him to the White House a “blip” in history.

Asked for his reaction to this, Trump again cited his many accomplishments as president — and the fact that he was giving this interview in the Oval Office — and joked: “A pretty big blip.”

Several U.S. senators, from Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR) to Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) to Ron Johnson (R-WI) and more, have expressed outrage and concern over evidence of Google’s search engine manipulation and these Breitbart News investigations.

In letters to Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai, and to Attorney General Bill Barr, as well as in interviews, these senators have expressed concern with these developments and pressed for potential antitrust action against Google over search bias because it appears to be using its monopoly power to engage in a form of election interference as well as to decide what information Americans do and do not get to see.

House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy in a recent interview said he was concerned that Google is trying to control the flow of information to voters, and during a recent hearing before a House Judiciary Committee subcommittee Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) grilled Pichai on this front.

Anti-Lockdown Dr. Scott Atlas Joins Coronavirus Task Force: Is Fauci Finally Out?

President Trump announced Monday that Dr. Scott Atlas is joining the White House Coronavirus Task Force. Dr. Atlas is a former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and a senior fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution. Before joining the team, Atlas penned an op-ed in The Hill that showed his approach to the coronavirus outbreak is much different than that of Anthony “Chicken Little” Fauci, who favors draconian lockdowns and now wants people to wear goggles to avoid getting a virus that most people recover from easily.

Here are some excerpts of the piece Atlas wrote, titled “The data is in-stop the panic and end the isolation.”

The tragedy of the COVID-19 pandemic appears to be entering the containment phase. Tens of thousands of Americans have died, and Americans are now desperate for sensible policymakers who have the courage to ignore the panic and rely on facts. Leaders must examine accumulated data to see what has actually happened, rather than keep emphasizing hypothetical projections; combine that empirical evidence with fundamental principles of biology established for decades; and then thoughtfully restore the country to function.

Five key facts are being ignored by those calling for continuing the near-total lockdown.

Fact 1: The overwhelming majority of people do not have any significant risk of dying from COVID-19. The recent Stanford University antibody study now estimates that the fatality rate if infected is likely 0.1 to 0.2 percent, a risk far lower than previous World Health Organization estimates that were 20 to 30 times higher and that motivated isolation policies.

Fact 2: Protecting older, at-risk people eliminates hospital overcrowding…Dr. Leora Horwitz of NYU Medical Center concluded “age is far and away the strongest risk factor for hospitalization.” Even early WHO reports noted that 80 percent of all cases were mild, and more recent studies show a far more widespread rate of infection and lower rate of serious illness. Half of all people testing positive for infection have no symptoms at all. The vast majority of younger, otherwise healthy people do not need significant medical care if they catch this infection.

Fact 3: Vital population immunity is prevented by total isolation policies, prolonging the problem…In this virus, we know that medical care is not even necessary for the vast majority of people who are infected. It is so mild that half of infected people are asymptomatic, shown in early data from the Diamond Princess ship, and then in Iceland and Italy. That has been falsely portrayed as a problem requiring mass isolation. In fact, infected people without severe illness are the immediately available vehicle for establishing widespread immunity. By transmitting the virus to others in the low-risk group who then generate antibodies, they block the network of pathways toward the most vulnerable people, ultimately ending the threat. Extending whole-population isolation would directly prevent that widespread immunity from developing.

Fact 4: People are dying because other medical care is not getting done due to hypothetical projections…An estimated 80 percent of brain surgery cases were skipped. Acute stroke and heart attack patients missed their only chances for treatment, some dying and many now facing permanent disability.

Fact 5: We have a clearly defined population at risk who can be protected with targeted measures…it is a commonsense, achievable goal to target isolation policy to that group, including strictly monitoring those who interact with them. Nursing home residents, the highest risk, should be the most straightforward to systematically protect from infected people, given that they already live in confined places with highly restricted entry.

Congress Probes U.S. Reliance on Chinese Spy Drones

Communist Party using technology to conduct espionage operations in the U.S.

Republican lawmakers launched a probe into U.S. reliance on Chinese-made drones, which have become standard in many state and local law enforcement agencies and are used as espionage tools by the Communist regime.

While Chinese drones have proliferated across America as state and local law enforcement agencies became reliant on the technology, the U.S. intelligence community assesses that China is using these drones to gather information on Americans and the U.S. domestic infrastructure. The federal government banned the use of Chinese-made drones earlier this year due to concerns over spying, but police, firefighters, and first responders in many U.S. states are still employing the technology.

Republican lawmakers in Congress petitioned Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross in a letter to launch an investigation into China's sophisticated spy operations. The lawmakers maintain that the importation of Chinese-made drones poses a national security risk and must be more heavily regulated to ensure that local authorities and first responders are not leaving themselves vulnerable.

The letter comes amid mounting concerns in Congress about China's espionage operations inside the United States, which reach far beyond the issue of drones. Sen. Martha McSally (R., Ariz.), one of the letter's organizers, recently introduced legislation that would block federal funds from being spent on Chinese-made drones and similar equipment. Other congressional investigations are focused on China's economic sabotage and efforts to steal proprietary information from the federal government and the U.S. business and medical communities.

Drones are vital tools for local and state authorities and are employed to deal with everything from wildfires to the monitoring of critical infrastructure. China is a leader in the production of low-cost drones, making it an attractive supplier. China's drone industry, however, like many Chinese technology sectors, is beholden to the Communist Party, which exerts unilateral control over the information obtained by the drones. For this reason, the Department of the Interior grounded its entire fleet of 800 drones in January, citing security flaws.

US court issues summons for Saudi Arabia's Mohammed bin Salman

Former Saudi intelligence officer filed lawsuit accusing the crown prince of sending a hit squad to try and kill him.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has been issued a summons by a US court for a lawsuit by a former top Saudi intelligence agent who was reportedly targeted in a foiled assassination attempt.

The US District Court for the District of Columbia issued the summons on Friday, a day after Saad al-Jabri filed the lawsuit accusing Prince Mohammed of sending a hit squad to Canada to try and kill him.

A summons is an official notice of a lawsuit, given to the person or persons being sued.

Al-Jabri, who lives in Canada, reportedly under increased protection by police and private security guards, claimed that his close ties with the US intelligence community and deep knowledge of the prince's activities had rendered him one of the aspiring monarch's key targets.

"Few places hold more sensitive, humiliating and damning information about Defendant bin-Salman than the mind and memory of Dr. Saad - except perhaps the recordings Dr. Saad made in anticipation of his killing," the lawsuit read.

Saudi Arabia, which has issued Interpol red notices seeking al-Jabri's return - which have since been dismissed by the agency as political - has urged other countries to send al-Jabri back to the kingdom, accusing the former senior intelligence officer of corruption.

The summons, which named 12 people in addition to Prince Mohammed, added: "If you fail to respond, judgment by default will be entered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint".

The suit asserts that MBS had ordered the detention of two of al-Jabri's children, who have gone missing from their home in the capital Riyadh in mid-March, and that other relatives have also been arrested and tortured "all in an effort to bait Dr. Saad back to Saudi Arabia to be killed".

The claims in the lawsuit are allegations which have not been proven.

Coronavirus is the New ‘Terrorism’ — Ron Paul

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has proposed the next multi-trillion dollar “coronavirus relief” spending bill that will support testing, tracing, treatment, isolation, and mask policies that have been part of a “national strategic plan” she has been advocating. The Trump administration is not opposing Pelosi’s plan on principle. Instead, it is haggling over the price.

But, even if the strategic plan could be implemented at little or no monetary cost, it would still impose an unacceptable cost in lost liberty.

Pelosi’s plan will lead to either a federal mask mandate or federal funding of state and local mask mandate enforcement. Those who resist wearing masks could likely be reported to the authorities by government-funded mask monitors. We can label this the “Stasi” approach to health policy, after the infamous East German secret police force.

Contact tracing could lead to forcing individuals to download a tracing app. The app would record where an individual goes and alert authorities that an individual has been near someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

The strategic plan could eventually include Bill Gates’ and Anthony Fauci’s suggestion that individuals receive “digital certificates” indicating they are vaccinated for or immune to coronavirus. A certificate would be required before an individual can go to work, to school, or even to the grocery store. The need to demonstrate vaccination for or immunity to coronavirus in order to resume normal life would cause many people to “voluntarily” receive a potentially dangerous coronavirus vaccine.

The Trump administration has already spent billions of dollars to support efforts of companies to develop a coronavirus vaccine. Policymakers have stated that once a vaccine is developed it will be rushed into production and onto the market. Supporters of expediting production and use of a vaccine should remember the 1976 swine flu vaccine debacle. The swine flu vaccine was rushed into production in response to political pressure to “do something.” The result was a vaccine that was more of a danger than the flu.

Unfortunately, those who raise legitimate concerns regarding the safety of vaccines are smeared as “conspiracy theorists.” This is the equivalent of stating that anyone who dares criticize our interventionist foreign policy “hates freedom” and is probably a “terrorist sympathizer.”

Smash Mouth lead singer says 'F that COVID s!' during packed concert at Sturgis after 250,000 rowdy bikers gathered in South Dakota for annual rally amid pandemic

The Sturgis motorcycle rally continued for its fourth day on Monday after a raucous concert on Sunday night, in which coronavirus concerns were laughed off by the lead singer and mask-less masses.

Steve Harwell, the 53-year-old frontman of California rockers Smash Mouth, opened his band's set with a rant caught on video against the virus, which has killed more han 160,000 U.S. citizens.

'F that COVID s!' he yelled, to raucous applause.

Experts have warned that the gathering, which is expected to bring 250,000 people to the city of 7,000, had the potential to become a 'super spreader event'.
