I hope some lawfags can chime in on this.
I went into a restaurant to get takeout. I got in an argument with management about masks. I said that I have read the CDC guidelines, the governors EOs and the mayor's EOs and they all say if I can social distance, I don't need a mask.
She kept saying 'the board of health says…'
To which I replied that I don't care what the board of health says.
Well I had never read anything from our local board of health. So I did.

In this document I found this stunning statement:Enforce the use of masks for both employees and customers, even if not mandated by the local or county government.
wtf? I know we are under a state of war that kicks in other emergency health laws, but how the fuck can the local BoH override the mayor and governor EOs and authority? And what is the legal argument against them doing this?
