Yes I don't think the plan is to install Pelosi, and you give one good reason.
But I do think the plan (THEIR plan) is lawfare.
And the terms expire no matter what.
Congress is SUPPOSED to get the job done on time, but if they DON'T then there is NO executive at all, not even acting. (I don't think Pres Succession Act applies in this case.)
Ergo… crisis! Congress has the constitional authority to choose an ACTING President then, and a deep state "pragmatist/moderate" can be installed.
I think this checks out "constitutionally" even if they are using all sorts of chicanery to get there. I find it hard to believe the deep state is placing their hopes on Biden/Harris.
