I personally would feel better if POTUS gave us some kind of signal like "Everything I am asking you to do is to protect you (the people) from the invisible enemy". Invisible enemy NOT being the virus. Then I would be far less agitated. Plandemic feels like 100% a DS game, but when people we are supposed to trust play along a bit too much, I end up in a state cognitive dissonance. My brain/spirit doesn't do directorships and authoritarianism.
