I know it's about getting the schools open,
but this "children aren't safe in their homes with their own parents, they're safer at school " messaging is absolutely fucked on every level, and I think less of those who push it regardless of their "friend or foe" status re: the movement.

the upcoming Trump vs the Teachers Union scenario is gonna be akin to Reagan vs The Air Traffic controllers in the 80s.
They're gonna get their shit pushed in and it's long overdue.
When it's done and that cancerous union is broken we'll finally have our home schooling, charter school options. General options for everyone and the country will be better for it.
