Adbusters has been around since before the Seatle "battle" (2000?) where the "black bloc" groups first started to pop up
My take is that their anti-corporate message has been intentionally hijacked by groups that create mayhem and produce a backlash.
Plus they act like obnoxious hipsters and have contempt for normal Americans so that's a problem too.
