So why doesn’t it work on us?
My mom is trying to wake up her friends but it’s impossible. They’re all brainwashed. All the believe is the tv. She’s tried science, she’s tried common sense. They all want the vaccine and are floored when she says she will never ever get it. She talks to them about nutrition and building their immune systems but these are women who would rather pop a pill than make a lifestyle change. She’s very frustrated and feels alone. I shared with her this is how spouse and I have felt since 2016- desperately trying to wake people up.
My friend worked at UPS long ago loading boxes of ground coffee into UPS. They gave friend masks to wear (those surgical disposable ones everyone had). Every single night friend would come home and blow nose- dark black mucus/boogers. Gross story but the masks didn’t do anything. The coffee ground dust still got into friends nose.
You know who woke me up? Donald J Trump.
Kek in all seriousness it was at a rally in WI. Crowd was huge. Came home and turned on the tv. Saw they were lying showing a small crowd and angles of protestors to make them look a huge crowd. I remembered what he kept shouting “look at the cameras! They never turn and show the crowd!” I started researching on how the news had lied all this time by distorting facts or by omission and the rest is history. But he was the initial spark!
Good question- all self checkout here accepts cash. My kid said many places in Mpls aren’t accepting cash. Dumb. I guess just try and if they say no cash you just say oh well and walk out. It’s a stupid rule and the reasons are nefarious pushing toward a cashless society.

Well no— it was that generic mask. Point is, people wear them thinking they work and they don’t. You could hold it to your face 24 hours a day and it still wouldn’t work. Stuff still gets through them. Sure it might prevent someone who spit talks from getting spit on someone but they don’t filter anything. That’s my point.
