I don't really want to post this, but I am feeling a Divine nudge to do so.

Last evening, Netflix suggested a movie called Let Me In. The story is about two 12yo. The girl is eventually revealed to be a vampire (a monster). The boy discovers this, but he already loves her. He is not disgusted by her and remains loyal to her, helping her where he can. The vampire girl (seriously… I never watch vampire movies) hates herself and hates who she is. She does these things that she perceives as evil in order to live.

Now why am I being compelled to share this? My guess is that although we judge the evil in the world, we must remember that only by love can we heal the world. The dark ones are being taken out and we can rejoice in this. Yet, we need to remember who WE are and why WE are NOT like THEM.

Of note: while watching the movie, I caught a couple of insignificant 17s. And after the movie, I was reading and the first paragraph I read started with As the world turns.

You can't make this stuff up.
