Hoosierfag here. I'm from the area where this happened, and while it's not making it too many national headlines, wouldn't be surprised if it gets picked up.

What I'm hearing is these morans were talking up the whole right lane of eastbound U.S. 30 through a stretch which is notoriously one of the most dangerous in the country. Heavy pipeline between Ft. Wayne and Chicago. Lots of traffic and lots of stops. From what I've heard, while they were walking, they had vehicles driving 5mph in the right lane and had traffic backed up for a mile.

Shit don't fly here, though, and now they're in jail.

They were charged with obstruction of traffic.

Also, the ringleader was charged with disorderly conduct because he didn't cooperate.

They were given multiple opportunities to move to the shoulder and refused. They wanted to get arrested in a red state. They're spinning stories about people swerving at them and waving guns. Complete bullshit.
