i converted the black and white into 23 rows of 5 bit binary

stars on bottom, stars on top, mirror inverted values and so on.

then used the

on the values.

one thing interesting, stars on bottom and white = 1

gave me

in CCITT1 MSB

The rest was gibbrish.
