An appeals court ruled on Friday that Hillary Clinton does not have to testify on her private email system and Benghazi attack records.

Judicial Watch in 2015 discovered Hillary Clinton used a private server and blew the story wide open after uncovering emails she sent from a non “state.gov” email account.

Earlier this year a federal court ordered a deposition of Hillary Clinton on her emails and Benghazi attack records.

Clinton hit back and filed an appeal to stop her court-ordered email testimony.

In June of this year, Judicial Watch blasted the government’s continued efforts to protect Hillary Clinton.

As you might recall, initially “even the Justice Department couldn’t stomach” her writ of mandamus appeal, Fitton affirms. Now, however, “we can’t even get the Justice Department to come in and argue against Hillary Clinton, even though they know she’s legally wrong – and have told the court in writing that she is!” “We just want to get through these Clinton email cases, we just want to end them and keep it behind us,” Fitton stated as he paraphrases the DOJ’s characterizations of the case.“They don’t have one wit of concern about the misconduct, about the accountability,” he continues. EU does not accept Belarus election results, preparing sanctions - Foreign policy chief Borrell

The European Union is refusing to recognize election results in Belarus and is preparing sanctions over the 'rigged' vote and the heavy-handed police response to protests, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has confirmed.

The EU "doesn't accept election results" in Minsk, Borrell tweeted on Friday evening, adding that work has begun on "sanctioning those responsible for violence [and] falsification" of the vote.

Borrell's comments come after a conference call of 27 EU foreign ministers, which ended in a consensus that the Belarus elections "were rigged," according to Slovakian FM Ivan Korcok.

“We cannot ignore the facts of election fraud and the use of force,” Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said after the meeting, adding that the EU foreign policy unit has been tasked with putting together a list of officials to be sanctioned.

Mass protests began shortly after the presidential election last Sunday, which the incumbent President Aleksandr Lukashenko won in a landslide, according to official results. Thousands have been arrested and two people have died in the five days of unrest, with viral videos showing law enforcement brutally dispersing demonstrators calling for regime change.

Ahead of the ministerial teleconference, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called for “additional sanctions against those who violated democratic values or abused human rights” in Belarus and expressed confidence the foreign ministers will “demonstrate our strong support for the rights of the people in Belarus to fundamental freedoms and democracy.”

Opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who has fled to Lithuania after Belarus security services said they intercepted a plot to assassinate her, called for peace on the streets – but insisted the election had been rigged. Lukashenko maintains the vote count was fair.

Ex-FBI Resistance Lawyer To Plead Guilty In Durham's Trump-Russia Probe

Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith will plead guilty to one count of making a false statement regarding his involvement in the agency's actions against the Trump campaign during the 2016 US election, according to the Associated Press.

In November, the New York Times revealed that Clinesmith was under criminal investigation for allegedly doctoring materials used to obtain renewals of the Carter Page surveillance warrant. Clinesmith -who worked on both the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the Russia probe, was part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team, and interviewed Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos.

Clinesmith, a 37-year-old graduate of Georgetown Law, "took an email from an official at another federal agency that contained several factual assertions, then added material to the bottom that looked like another assertion from the email’s author, when it was instead his own understanding," according to the report.

Mr. Clinesmith included this altered email in a package that he compiled for another F.B.I. official to read in preparation for signing an affidavit that would be submitted to the court attesting to the facts and analysis in the wiretap application.

Clinesmith was identified by Inspector General Michael Horowitz as one of several FBI officials who harbored animus towards President Trump, after which he was kicked off the Mueller Russia investigation in February 2018. Two other FBI officials removed for similar reasons were Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, both of whom also worked on the Clinton and Trump investigations, and both of whom have similarly left the bureau.

On November 9, 2016 - the day after Trump won the election, Clinesmith texted another FBI employee "My god damned name is all over the legal documents investigating his staff," adding "So, who knows if that breaks to him what he is going to do."

Erdogan threatens to cut diplomatic ties with UAE and shut its embassy over deal on normalizing relations with Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he is considering breaking off all diplomatic ties with the UAE after the Gulf nation announced a landmark deal establishing formal relations with Israel.

Erdogan harshly criticized the UAE for its deal with Israel, as most Arab nations have historically refrained from maintaining formal diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv in protest against its occupation of the West Bank.

We have given instructions to the foreign minister. Suspending diplomatic relations with Abu Dhabi may be one of the steps, as well as recalling our ambassador, because we stand with the Palestinian people.

On Thursday, the UAE announced that it had agreed to set up diplomatic ties with Israel in exchange for a suspension of Tel Aviv’s plan to annex the West Bank. Previously, only Egypt and Jordan among the Arab nations have had diplomatic relations with Israel.

The deal was hailed by the US and Israel, but vehemently rejected by the Palestinian Authority.

Erdogan and his government have been vocal critics of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians over the years. Shortly after the UAE-Israel accord was announced, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said that “history and the conscience of the region’s peoples will not forget and never forgive this hypocritical behavior of the UAE, betraying the Palestinian cause for the sake of its narrow interests.”

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, praised the accord with Abu Dhabi as “the greatest advancement toward peace between Israel and the Arab world in the last 26 years.” He confirmed that Israel would delay the planned annexation of the West Bank, but said that this option will remain on the table.

Mystery Masks from China Arrive At Florida Addresses — Unsolicited

Some residents in the Tampa Bay area have been receiving unsolicited masks from China at their homes.

One resident, Shan Sharp of Clearwater, Fla., told local NBC news affiliate WLFA that she found two packages of masks when she opened her mailbox this week.

“I looked at the label and it had Shanghai, China, from a certain district,” she said. “All of this information, including my cell phone number, [was] on there … I was afraid to even open it after I saw it. I didn’t want to keep it in my house,” she added, noting that she quickly threw the masks in the garbage.

Residents in Virginia, Utah, and other states have also been receiving unsolicited seeds in the mail, prompting warnings from state agricultural agencies.

Virginians claim they have received packets of seeds with writing on the outside that appears to be Chinese. “The seeds have yet to be identified, but officials speculate that the seeds may be of an invasive plant species and are advising residents not to use them,” Fox News reported.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services issued a statement about the shipments, which reads in part:

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) has been notified that several Virginia residents have received unsolicited packages containing seeds that appear to have originated from China. The types of seeds in the packages are unknown at this time and may be invasive plant species. The packages were sent by mail and may have Chinese writing on them.

Please do not plant these seeds. VDACS encourages anyone who has received unsolicited seeds in the mail that appears to have Chinese origin to contact the Office of Plant Industry Services (OPIS) at 804.786.3515 or through the ReportAPest@vdacs.virginia.gov email.

Invasive species wreak havoc on the environment, displace or destroy native plants and insects and severely damage crops. Taking steps to prevent their introduction is the most effective method of reducing both the risk of invasive species infestations and the cost to control and mitigate those infestations.

President Donald Trump's brother Robert hospitalized, reportedly 'very ill'

President Donald Trump's brother Robert was recently admitted to a New York City hospital, where is is reportedly "very ill."

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the sad news, saying that Trump and his brother "have a very good relationship."

ABC News reported that Trump is expected to visit his brother soon.

The outlet noted that in June, Robert was hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Mount Sinai Health System in New York for more than a week.

A report from the Daily Beast alleged that Robert spent 11 days in the hospital's neurosciences intensive care unit for treatment of an undisclosed "serious condition."

The hospital's neurosciences unit specializes in the care of patients who suffer from "subarachnoid hemorrhage, acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hematomas, coma, tumors of the brain and spine, severe or prolonged seizures, neuro-infections, [and] spinal cord injury among others."

According to a Friday report from the New York Daily News, Trump was scheduled to visit his Bedminster, New Jersey, resort Friday, but it is unclear whether the president will visit his brother before or after the stop.

"Either way, the NYPD would work with the Secret Service and help provide an escort to the hospital, and have cops stationed outside the hospital, a police source said," according to the outlet, which noted that Trump Tower security detail may also see additional officers in the event the president decides to visit.

UK strikes deals with J&J, Novavax to secure potential Covid-19 vaccines

Britain has sealed two more deals to secure Covid-19 vaccines, buying shots in development from Johnson & Johnson and Novavax, UK's vaccine task force chair has confirmed.

After the move, the UK government now has a total of six deals of this kind as the race for life-saving shots heats up.

Johnson & Johnson said its Janssen Pharmaceutica unit will supply the UK government with its candidate vaccine with an initial sale of 30 million doses on a not-for-profit basis for emergency pandemic use.

According to Novavax, the UK will buy 60 million doses of its coronavirus vaccine candidate, for a phase 3 clinical trial.

The latest agreements brings the UK's total number of doses secured to 362 million for a population of 66 million, Reuters said. As the pandemic continues to rage, Britain and the United States are leading the global race to strike deals with drugmakers for vaccines, with six deals each so far.

On Tuesday Russia became the first country to grant regulatory approval to a Covid-19 vaccine, dubbed ‘Sputnik V,’ and a number of countries have already expressed their interest in purchasing it and announced plans to launch clinical trials.

Former US Official Threatens To Blow Up ‘Spygate’

A former U.S. government official is threatening to expose the activities of Stefan Halper, an FBI source who cozied up to several Trump campaign advisers as part of Crossfire Hurricane.

President Trump coined the term “Spygate” in 2018 following revelations that the FBI used Halper to gather intelligence on Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.

Steven Schrage, who served in the Bush administration, says that Halper delayed his Ph.D. work at Cambridge in order to use him to help research Trump associates.

Schrage invited Page to the Cambridge event in July 2016 where the Trump aide first met Halper.

A former U.S. government official who studied at the University of Cambridge under FBI informant Stefan Halper says he has the goods to expose “Spygate,” the term that President Donald Trump coined for the intelligence-gathering activities against his campaign.

Steven Schrage, who served as a deputy assistant secretary of state in former President George W. Bush’s administration, alleges that Halper used his position at Cambridge to force him to research Trump associates in 2016 under the guise of working on his dissertation.

“I definitely believe he used his position of power to keep me silent and stretch out my research as well as having me research things to support his activities,” Schrage told the Daily Caller News Foundation of Halper.

“I believe that beyond a shadow of a doubt and have hard evidence supporting it.”

Schrage, who worked on his Cambridge Ph.D. from 2013 through 2019, first came forward to discuss Halper on Sunday in an essay and an appearance on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Schrage said he plans to release information about Halper and other Cambridge luminaries, including former MI6 chief Richard Dearlove. He said he believes that the “real smoking gun” in the Trump intelligence operation is what went on at Cambridge.

In his essay, Schrage teased information from August 2016 that “should have immediately ended their investigation alleging Page was a master spy linking top Trump officials to Putin.” At that point in time, the FBI was ramping up its Crossfire Hurricane investigation into several Trump campaign aides, including Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn.

Feds Stepping in to Prosecute Portland Rioters Charged with Crimes as Local DA Stands Down

The Multnomah County District Attorney announced earlier this week that dozens of people arrested over almost three months of rioting in Portland, Oregon, will not be prosecuted, but as local officials stand down, federal prosecutors are taking on cases.

D.A. Mike Schmidt said his office would not prosecute rioters arrested unless the charges against them included property damage, theft or the use or threat of force against another person.

Willamette Week reported on the federal move to prosecute rioters, including Edward Thomas Schinzing, who was caught on camera setting fires inside of the Multnomah County Justice Center on May 29, 2020, the first night of protests in Portland:

It was a slam-dunk case for the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office: the destruction of county property caught on camera. And county prosecutors are pursuing indictments for 47 people on felony charges related to protests this year.

Schinzing was indicted July 28 on arson charges. But the county isn’t bringing the charges.

Instead, he’s being prosecuted by the U.S. attorney for Oregon—that is, the feds. He’s one of at least two protesters whose cases originated in the district attorney’s office that have now been taken up in federal court, according to Multnomah County Senior Deputy District Attorney Nathan Vasquez.

The Willamette Week report notes that the fires were set in buildings owned by the city and country, not a federal building that federal law enforcement are tasked to protect.

The report also said “the feds'” rationale for claiming jurisdiction was, “Because Portland and Multnomah County are recipients of federal aid, including COVID relief funding, the federal government has authority to prosecute crimes on those properties.”

At a press conference on August 11, Schmidt did not dispute federal law enforcement’s jurisdiction in the Schinzing case, according to the Willamette Weekly report.

“Schinzing maliciously damaged and destroyed…by means of fire a building and other personal property belonging to Multnomah County and the City of Portland, which are both institutions and organizations receiving federal financial assistance,” Special Agent Cynthia M. Chang of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives wrote in an affidavit.

Former Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Norm Frink said that the feds’ involvement may seem unusual, but what is taking place in Portland is anything but usual.

“Yeah, it’s unusual. But the circumstances are even more unusual,” Frink told the news outlet. “It’s unusual that for 70-plus days, people have been permitted, with minimal law enforcement interference, to break the criminal laws over political animus.”

“That’s highly unusual,” Frink said. “It’s unsurprising to me that the only adult left in the room would exercise federal jurisdiction when he can.”

“It’s unlikely Portlanders will feel much pity for Schinzing, Willamette Week reported. “He remains in custody at the Multnomah County Jail, where he’s been held since July 2 following an arrest for violating parole after being convicted of assault this spring for attacking his domestic partner and her child.”

PA Gov. Tom Wolf Asks for Extension of Mail-In Vote Deadline After U.S. Postal Service Warning

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf (D) asked the state’s Supreme Court to extend the deadline for mail-in votes to be counted after the U.S. Postal Service warned that some ballots may not make the Election Day deadline.

Voters in Pennsylvania can request a mail-in ballot for the November 3 election as late as October 27. In order to be counted, ballots must be received by Election Day, but a recent warning from the U.S. Postal Service has officials scrambling. According to a letter from Thomas J. Marshall, general counsel and executive vice president of the U.S. Postal Service, ballots requested close to the deadline may not return in time and could, therefore, be excluded from the official count.

There is “a risk that ballots requested near the deadline under state law will not be returned by mail in time to be counted under your laws as we understand them,” Marshall wrote in a July 29 letter — which was unveiled as part of a lawsuit to extend the counting deadline — to Pennsylvania State Secretary Kathy Boockvar (D):

Now, the Democrat governor’s administration is asking the state’s Supreme Court to intervene by extending the counting deadline beyond November 3 at 8 p.m., warning that current restrictions could disenfranchise voters. Instead, ballots postmarked by the original deadline should be counted if they are received within three days following the election. The administration also believes that even those that “lack a postmark or legible proof of mailing should also be counted,” according to ABC 6.

“To state it simply: voters who apply for mail-in ballots in the last week of the application period and return their complete ballot by mail will, through no fault of their own, likely be disenfranchised,” the administration’s Thursday filing read in part.

Skeptics continue to sound the alarm on the risk of mass universal mail-in voting, maintaining that it drastically increases the potential for fraud and error. The war over mass mail-in voting has also permeated the debate on the next phase of coronavirus relief, keeping Democrats and Republicans from striking a deal.

“They want $3.5 billion for something that’ll turn out to be fraudulent, that’s election money basically. They want $3.5 billion for the mail-in votes, okay, universal mail-in ballots, 3.5 trillion,” President Trump said during a Thursday interview with Fox Business Network’s Mornings with Maria.

Drag Queen Story Time UK locked down its Twitter account after a “Love has no age!” post on its timeline was highlighted.

The message, which believed by some to have paedophilic connotations, was also shared on the drag organisation’s Facebook page on July 26th, where it remains publicly available.

“Love has no age!” reads the post accompanying a picture of an older man wearing a rainbow suit jacket and tie over a bare chest, followed by three emojis in party hats blowing streamers.

“Additional information for those who need it: You can find love even if you’re as old as this guy, but we do not support MAP,” the organisation clarified in an August 11th edit to the Facebook post.

“MAP” is an alternative term for paedophiles, popular in paedophile circles, which stands for “Minor Attracted Persons”.

“We don’t support it, condone that, or have any thing [sic] to do with it,” the addendum continued.

“We are an education and entertainment enterprise teaching children aged 0-12 about LGBT+ people, and about acceptance of those who are different, whether that be sexuality, age, gender, disability or race.”

Ben & Jerry’s Receives Backlash for Backing Illegal Channel Migrants

Unilever-owned Ben & Jerry’s received substantial backlash for a Twitter screed backing illegal immigration amid Britain’s ongoing boat migrant crisis.

Criminal people-smugglers have orchestrated a massive upsurge in illegal migrants crossing the English Channel in small and often dangerously overcrowded boats — on top of existing, often violently activated routes via lorries, ferries, and the Channel Tunnel — in recent months, with the British government unable or unwilling to either turn them back immediately or organise more than a handful of deportations.

With Home Secretary Priti Patel claiming she is working on a plan to tackle the crisis, however, Unilever-owned ice-cream hawkers Ben & Jerry’s took it upon themselves to weigh in on the public debate, tweeting directly at the Tory politician to tell her that “the real crisis is our lack of humanity for people fleeing war, climate change and torture”.

Calais Mayor Tells Boris to ‘Calm Down’, Claims Illegal Migration Is UK’s Fault

The Mayor of Calais has said that Boris Johnson should “calm down” about illegal boat migrants crossing the English Channel from France.

Natacha Bouchart — who recently said that the United Kingdom sending the Royal Navy into the Channel to solve the crisis would be a “declaration of maritime war” — also claimed the migrant crisis was Britain’s fault.

“If the migrants want to cross [the Channel], it is because the British themselves put out the call. They have done so by failing to touch their legislation for 20 years,” Ms Bouchart told AFPTV on Thursday, according to The Guardian.

“Therefore I appeal to Boris Johnson, saying you urgently need to calm down, and urgently need to change your methods of … dealing with migrants,” the regional mayor added.

She also told France’s interior minister Gérald Darmanin, who is in current talks with his British counterpart Priti Patel to come to a solution to the crisis, not to “give in” — because the “British don’t know how to negotiate”.

“It’s only by standing firm that you achieve something,” she said.

Bouchart is not the only French politician to claim that the increase in boat landings — 4,198 at the latest official count this year — is the fault of the British.

Deputy mayor of Calais Philippe Mignonet told La Voix du Nord on Tuesday in comments reported by The Times: “I fear a tragedy one day, but the British blame us for their own hypocrisy.”

Mr Mignonet added that one of the reasons migrants want to come to the United Kingdom is because it is easy to find employment there, as “they can work in the black economy when they want, because there is no control, not on the street or in the workplace”.

President of the National Society for Rescue at Sea in Calais, Bernard Barron, also suggested Britain should “criticise themselves” and question “the reasons that make their country so attractive” to Third World migrants.

The remarks could be interpreted as a criticism of Britain’s generous welfare and asylum systems, and how they compare to France.

Migrants waiting to cross the Channel have reportedly claimed that it can take years for French authorities to process their claims for financial benefits and access to health care is restricted.

While in the United Kingdom, illegals and asylum seekers can apply immediately for financial and housing assistance even if their asylum claims have not been processed. They also have immediate access to health care and education for their school-aged children.

Largest Ever Heroin Bust in Georgia Links to Dangerous Mexican Cartel, Say Feds

On July 27, agents with the Atlanta DEA office in collaboration with other federal agencies executed multiple search warrants at apartments and houses believed to be acting as stash and distribution spots for the metro area. The seized items were publicly displayed this week and are officially believed to amount to the largest heroin bust in Georgia’s history.

The searches included a studio apartment where agents found around 28 kilograms of heroin, six kilos of cocaine, eight kilos of marijuana, at least $1 million cash, 41 firearms, and paraphernalia. At another home, agents found 142 kilos of heroin and 4 kilos of cocaine.

Investigators say the case started in October 2019 in Mexico where the DEA and partners seized $7 million in cash and uncovered ledgers connecting to 46-year-old Atlanta resident Antonio “Freckleface Shawn” DaShawn Daniels.

The ledgers reportedly demonstrated that from August 2018 and October 2019, Daniels received at least 1,000 kilograms of cocaine and returned more than $1 million in proceeds, officials said. Federal agents laid out their case against Daniels, explaining how they believe he became the primary connection between Atlanta and one of Mexico’s most dangerous cartels, Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG).

“This investigation has ties all the way up to the highest level of cartel activities in Mexico,” said B.J. Pak, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia. “Daniels allegedly used these ties to flood this district with drugs and reap the financial benefits. We will not tolerate the destruction of lives through the scourge of the drug trade.”

Albuquerque Resolution Calls for Re-Writing the New Mexico Constitution=

During the 2019 session of the New Mexico Legislature, anti-gun Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and state lawmakers who were elected with the support of New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg rammed legislation through which criminalized the private sale of firearms, over the strong objections of law-abiding citizens and law enforcement. Opponents warned that the measure would be intrusive, ineffective and unenforceable.

KRQE recently reported that in the year since that law went into effect on July 1, 2019, court records show no one has been charged with violating it. This should come as no surprise to those who fought against this legislation, warning that it would be ineffective and unenforceable. It certainly hasn’t stopped or even slowed crime in the Duke City.

Yet amidst the reporting on the state’s failed so-called universal background check law, and even with the red flag gun confiscation law recently having taken effect, anti-gun members of the Albuquerque City Council are calling for MORE GUN CONTROL!

That’s right. This week, the Council’s Finance & Government Operations Committee advanced Resolution 20-68 by Councilmembers Isaac Benton and Diane Gibson, which calls on the New Mexico Legislature to rewrite Article II, Section 6 (the Right to Keep and Bear Arms provision) of the New Mexico Constitution, rip out the state firearms preemption clause and put that enormously-significant change to a popular vote. The full Council will consider the resolution in the coming weeks.

Preemption prevents a patchwork of different local firearms rules and regulations across the state. It helps ensure uniformity in gun laws wherever you live, work or travel, so that law-abiding citizens don’t unknowingly run afoul of confusing and conflicting local gun restrictions. If gun control advocates get their way, New Mexico could become one of only five states in the nation without this important protection. Cities like Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces would be free to pass whatever type of gun control they wanted — gun bans, magazine limits, licensing and registration schemes, prohibitions on carrying firearms on your person or in your car — restrictions far beyond anything the New Mexico Legislature has already done or will do to your Second Amendment rights in the future.

Temperature checks upon entry to businesses or schools are ineffective for detecting COVID, Fauci says

Checking people's temperatures upon entry to businesses and schools is essentially pointless as a standalone measure to protect against the spread of COVID-19, and the practice can just as well be avoided to save time, Dr. Anthony Fauci said during a Facebook Live broadcast Thursday.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the temperature checks aren't reliable, and it's more effective to question people about symptoms than it is to take their temperature with an infrared thermometer, which is an increasingly popular practice as places reopen.

"We have found at NIH that it is much, much better to just question people when they come in and save the time, because temperatures are notoriously inaccurate many times," Fauci said.

Schools, common business such as grocery stores, large corporations including Amazon, and Disney's Florida theme parks all utilize temperature screenings in an attempt to prevent people with COVID-19 from entering.

Despite the popularity of the temperature checks as a safety measure, their ineffectiveness in detecting COVID-19 should be rather obvious. One of the most well-known and complicating aspects of COVID-19 is the likely number of people who have, or have had, the coronavirus with few or no symptoms, let alone a fever.

That's not to mention the inaccuracy of infrared temperature readings, particularly when used on people in the summer time after they've been out in the heat. Fauci himself said he's registered at 103 on a temperature check just from being outside.

So, while there's some chance that a temperature check could catch someone who is attempting to go somewhere with a fever, the checks are not likely to catch a significant portion of COVID-19 cases.

"All in all, temperature screenings may catch some cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus. But it could miss many others," Bruce Y. Lee, a public health expert, wrote for Forbes last month. "Thus, be skeptical whenever anyone tries to assure you that things are safe just because they are doing temperature and symptom screening."

Much of the opposition to reopening schools for in-person classes is due to fear of asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 among students and teachers, or the risk that students may unknowingly contract the virus at school and bring it home to vulnerable family members.

Statistics have proven that children without underlying health problems are unlikely to have serious illness if they get COVID-19, but the potential for asymptomatic spread creates an uncertainty that some parents and school officials are unwilling to risk.

Puerto Rican-man sentenced to 17 years for production of child pornography

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), a Puerto Rican man was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Court Chief Gustavo A. Gelpí to 17 years in prison followed by a period of 30 years of supervised release.

On Nov. 20, 2019, Enrique Sánchez-Hernández, of Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography. According to the government’s evidence, Sánchez- Hernández made a recording of his sexual abuse of an 8-year-old minor using his cellular phone. A citizen discovered the recording in June 2018, when the abandoned phone was found in Río Grande. The Puerto Rico Police Department referred the case to ICE HSI, who were able to identify Mr. Sánchez-Hernández from the video and arrest him.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas W. Cannon of the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation Section.

This investigation was conducted under HSI’s Operation Predator, an international initiative to protect children from sexual predators. Since the launch of Operation Predator in 2003, HSI has arrested more than 25,000 individuals for crimes against children, including the production and distribution of online child exploitation material, traveling overseas for sex with minors, and sex trafficking of children. In fiscal year 2019, more than 3,500 child predators were arrested by HSI special agents under this initiative and more than 1,000 victims identified or rescued.

10 Ways the Communist Manifesto Has Infiltrated the USA

If you can’t handle one little arbitrary political abduction at the hands of secret government police, socialism may not be for you.

See, you might not realize it, but the USA is already heavily influenced by the socialist/ communist philosophy of Karl Marx.

Socialism is more of an umbrella term, meaning centralized control of the means of production– like factories and farming– in the hands of the state.

Communism is more extreme, with complete abolishment of private property, and a dictatorial government that allegedly attempts to distribute wealth “to each according to his need,” and extract labor “from each according to his ability.”

The two are related enough to use them interchangeably for our purposes.

Karl Marx was born over 200 years ago. And despite the utter failure of his communist philosophy in practice, the cult lives on. Still people want to try again… this time they will get it right.

Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels originally published The Communist Manifesto in 1848. It laid out the beliefs and action plan of the Communist Party. The goal was to get communists of every nationality to rise up and unite to overthrow their “capitalist oppressors.”

Little did they know their words would be used by the likes of Stalin and Mao as justification for over 100 million murders all in the name of a great leap forward for society.

In America, the goals of the communists have crept their way into society with little fanfare. Many people have no idea that public schools, the graduated income tax, and even a central state-controlled bank (like the Federal Reserve) were tenets of the Communist Manifesto.

In one section The Communist Manifesto boils down to a list of ten main goals.

Here are those goals, in Marx and Engels’ own words, followed by some discussion about of how deeply they have seeped into the United States government.

“1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.”

Also known as property taxes.

Can you really say you own land if you must pay the government every year in order to keep it? Fail to pay your rent, and they will eventually confiscate “your” land. This money is then used for “public purposes” like public schools (just wait for #10) and police, who will remove you from the government’s land if you fail to pay your rent.

And if the local government can fine you for keeping a front yard garden, or backyard chickens, do you really own the land anyway? The proletariat simply trades capitalist oppressors for government oppressors.

The federal government owns outright 28% of all land in the United States, 640 million acres. This includes the Bureau of Land Management’s 248 million-acre turf used to control and oppress political dissidents like Cliven Bundy.

“The BLM is also responsible for subsurface mineral resources in areas totaling 700 million acres.” That means they control almost three times as much land as they own.

Each state government owns an average of 8.7% of its state’s land. Another source claims the feds own over 31% of the U.S. landmass, which brings the combined state and federal total ownership to almost 40% of all land in the USA.

And let’s not forget about eminent domain, where the government can just take your land for “public use” (or public benefit) with “just compensation.”

If you don’t feel that the compensation was fair, simply take the most powerful government on Earth to court– courts that they own. I’m sure you will be treated fairly.

“2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.”

Even after the latest tax cuts, the federal income tax rates range from 10% to 37%. You pay more if you earn more. That’s what a graduated income tax means.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the top 20% of income earners in the U.S. paid 87% of all income taxes in 2018. These people who earn $150,000 or more account for 52% of the income earned in the USA, but will pay almost all of the income taxes.

The top 1% of earners– the evil bourgeoisie making over $730,000 per year–actually paid over 43% of all income taxes in 2018.

So 1% of earners who make 16% of the country’s total income will pay 43% of the total income tax.

And the fact that the government claims the authority to tax you on everything you earn basically means you have a liability to labor for the government if you want to labor at all.

This is the antithesis of right to the pursuit of happiness the founders of the USA talked about. That was synonymous with property rights, because working, building, and creating is how most people pursue a fulfilled life.

In fact, they are required for life itself. You can’t stay alive without someone working to feed you, for example.

Therefore, most of us cannot go through life without earning something to pay for necessities. But we can’t just earn what we need, we must earn way more than we need because the government will take a huge chunk of our income.

We tend to think about taxes as a percentage of our income. But what about as a percentage of our time?

The government forces you to work as its slave from about January through April every year. In a typical career, you will spend in total more than 14 full years working as a slave for the government.

“9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.”

The government helped create factory farming by regulating all the small-scale producers out of business.

Reason reports that USDA regulations have forced small slaughterhouses to close in favor of large factory-style slaughterhouses. This might sound like a good idea at first. But consider that when one infected animal makes its way to a slaughterhouse, it can contaminate so much more meat.

Having many slaughterhouses distributed across the U.S. meant that any infections were localized, and affected far fewer people. Plus when the slaughterhouse is local, it is easier to know the owners and see the conditions for yourself.

The animals are raised closer to home, requiring less logistics and a more secure supply chain from farm to table.

The U.S. government has long subsidized large crop producers centralizing them, and making it that much harder for small farms to compete.

It started with the Farm Bill in 1933 and continues to this day.

What we get is cheap, but unhealthy products. And even though the products on the shelf look cheap, we already paid for them with our tax dollars through subsidies.

You may not want to buy unhealthy foods loaded with high fructose corn syrup. But your money will pay for that crap whether you like it or not.

As for the second part, the US federal government does all it can to destroy the autonomy of towns and states across the USA. It does this with the carrot– giving money to governments that do its bidding; and the stick– using federal money and agents to enforce its laws, however unjust.
