Mueller’s ‘pitbull’, Andrew Wiessmann, is scared he’s next. Last week Weissmann was behind two articles online disparaging Attorney General Barr and the DOJ. Today he freaked out again and went on a Twitter rant about the guilty plea of his former “Resistance” partner Kevin Clinesmith.

Andrew Weissmann, who served as a deputy on former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump administration and Russian interference in the 2016 election, lashed out at the Justice Department on Friday for indicting an FBI attorney who played a role in that investigation.

In a series of messages on Twitter, Weissmann invoked former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn in asking Attorney General William Barr to explain the reasoning behind charges for Kevin Clinesmith. Court documents on Friday indicated Clinesmith, a former FBI attorney, intends to plead guilty to altering an email from the CIA, which investigators used to seek a wiretap on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Sleazy little Weissmann started his rant with this tweet, claiming General Michael Flynn is guilty of crimes while Clinesmith is not:

Weissmann shows his moral standards in confusing the message and making up, down and down, up. This sleazeball hopefully will soon be next.

“He will be pleading guilty,” Clinesmith attorney Justin Shur said in a statement to reporters on Friday. “Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email. It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate. But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility.”

Despite Weissmann’s insanity, Clinesmith admitted guilt back in 2016 and apologized for lying while admitting guilt today through his attorney. Altering information used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on candidate and President Trump and participating in the most corrupt scandal in US history – Obamagate – is a crime. Weissmann knows it too.

Spain bans OUTDOOR smoking and shuts nightclubs & discos as Covid-19 cases spike

Madrid has rolled out a new set of anti-coronavirus measures, shutting down some public venues and banning smoking in the street without social distancing. It comes as some 3,000 new cases of Covid-19 are being reported daily.

The new nationwide restrictions were announced on Friday by Spain’s Health Minister Salvador Illa. The official didn’t give a precise timeframe for when the restrictions would come into force, saying only that it would be within the next few days.

Young people must be particularly careful, Illa stressed, urging them to show “discipline” and follow “the measures, just like older people are already doing.”

The restrictions include the closure of nightclubs, dancehalls, and discos, and strict rules governing restaurants and bars. For instance, their opening hours will be limited and the number of customers they can receive at a time will be regulated.

The anti-coronavirus measures also include a ban on smoking in public places and enclosed outdoor spaces where smokers cannot maintain a proper distance between one another. Similar restrictions on smoking were implemented earlier by two of Spain’s regions, Galicia and the Canary Islands.

In retirement and nursing homes, which have proved to be particularly prone to deadly Covid-19 outbreaks, all new residents and staff will be mandatorily tested for the virus. Visitors will be limited to one person a day, and outings will also be restricted.

The new restrictions come as Spain – one of the worst-affected EU countries – saw its daily coronavirus tally rise again. Nearly 3,000 new cases have been detected in the country during the past 24-hour period. It total, it has registered more than 350,000 Covid-19 cases, including well over 28,000 deaths.

Globally, the Covid-19 tally is hovering at just below the 21 million mark, with more than 760,000 deaths, the latest figures by the Johns Hopkins University indicate. The US, Brazil, and India remain the worst-affected nations, accounting for around a half of all detected cases.

Infowars reporter Millie Weaver ‘arrested’ mid-premiere of her whistleblowing investigation into ‘shadow government’

Investigative reporter Millie Weaver and her husband have reportedly been arrested at the same time her documentary on the US “shadow government” was being screened on YouTube, sending Conservative Twitter into theory overdrive.

Weaver’s “arrest” at the couple’s home – which has yet to be confirmed by authorities – was initially reported by Infowars on Friday, shortly after the YouTube premiere of her documentary film “ShadowGate.” The film purports to expose the secrets of the massive ‘Deep State’ intelligence apparatus manipulating politics within the US and beyond its borders, based on the reports of two private intelligence whistleblowers.

Video of the couple’s apparent arrest, shot by Weaver herself, was posted to Twitter by her Infowars colleague Adan Salazar, opening on Weaver asking in disbelief if “a grand jury indicted [her].”

She and her husband Gavin Wince were then supposedly taken into custody after being informed they’d been charged with “burglary.” The clip ends abruptly with Weaver urging viewers to “please share this.”

Rumors soon emerged that the “burglary” concerned alleged theft of government documents related to the film, but no official confirmation has so far been released.

Donald Trump Donates Quarterly Salary to Repair National Monuments

President Donald Trump announced Friday that he would donate his salary for this financial quarter to the National Park Service for the restoration of America’s national monuments.

The president announced the news on Twitter, together with an image of the $100,000 check.

“I promised YOU I would not take a dime of salary as your President. I donate the entire $400,000!” Trump wrote.

It is my honor to give $100,000 to the National Park Service to help repair and restore our GREAT National Monuments,” Trump wrote. “So important to our American History! Thank You!!”

Trump is required to be paid the annual $400,000 a year to be the president, but he has pledged to donate his quarterly salary while in office to worthy government causes.

In May and in March of 2020, Trump donated his $100,000 quarterly salary to the Department of Health and Human Services to help fight the coronavirus and develop therapies.

Throughout the Summer, national monuments were vandalized by leftist rioters until President Trump vowed to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

In July, the president delivered a passionate speech at Mount Rushmore to remind Americans of the importance of protecting monuments.

“We will never let them rip America’s heroes from our monuments, or from our hearts,” he said.

Duke University Economist Calls for $12 Trillion in Slavery Reparations

Duke University economist William Darity Jr. and his wife Kirsten Mullen have co-authored a report proposing $12 trillion in reparations for Americans whose ancestors were enslaved.

The plan, written for The Roosevelt Institute, calls for between $10 trillion and $12 trillion — approximately $800,000 per African-American household — to be paid.

“[The] US government—the culpable party—must pay the debt,” the report proclaims. “Ultimately, respect for black Americans as people and as citizens—and acknowledgment, redress, and closure for the history and financial hardship they have endured—requires monetary compensation.”

The proposal has been dismissed by conservative and libertarian-leaning experts, who say it would greatly hinder economic growth.

“Our national debt is already now up to around $26-27 trillion given the money we’re spending on Covid,” said Cato Institute fellow Michael Tanner. “And we’re losing more money because we’re not picking up the revenue because economic growth is so slow right now. This hardly seems the time to burden the economy with more debt, more taxes. Essentially what you want to do is stimulate economic growth for all our benefits.”

The economics aside, leading African-American political figures, including Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson, have cast doubt over the feasibility of reparations.

“What I would say about reparations is, you know, show me a mechanism that works,” Carson challenged interviewer Jericka Duncan when asked about the concept in December 2019. “You know, I did my DNA analysis. OK. I’m 77% sub-Saharan African, 20% European, 3% Asian. So how do you proportion that out to everybody?”

“Proportionately, you’re not going to be able to figure it out. And where do you stop it? It’s unworkable,” he added. “I would much rather concentrate on how do we provide the opportunities for people to get into a better economic situation now.”

Nonetheless, the Burlington City Council voted unanimously on Monday to launch a task force to study reparations for residents. Last month, a “racial equity” task force commissioned by the city of Durham, North Carolina, issued a report recommending the creation of a reparations fund to address “systemic racism.”

Steve Scalise: New York Families Asked Me to Get Coronavirus Data Hidden by Andrew Cuomo

Rep. Steve Scalise (D-LA) said New York families who had loved ones die from coronavirus are contacting his office for help obtaining information from Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) related to nursing home deaths, offering his comments on Friday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Cuomo neglected to use assets made available to him by the Trump administration as part of New York’s coronavirus response, explained Seema Verma, administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Verma also noted that Cuomo and other Democrat governors issued coronavirus-related directives contrary to federal government guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“Just in New York, over 2,500 seniors died that should not have died if those [CDC] guidelines were followed,” said Scalise, referring to Cuomo’s policy of placing coronavirus-infected seniors into nursing homes. “So we’ve been trying to get the full data. It’s almost like [Cuomo] is proudly saying, ‘I don’t have to give you the data.’ This is a guy who used to give press conferences for hours at a time talking about transparency and honesty, and he has the data, and he’s bragging that he doesn’t have to show us what really happened in his state.”

Scalise said, “I’ve got more families in New York that have contacted my office telling us to keep fighting to get this data, because they lost loved ones. They lost their moms. They lost their grandparents, and the governor of their own state won’t even tell them what happened and why, because he’s trying to cover this up.”

Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.

Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation the state is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing better than other states and to make a tragic situation less dire.

Cuomo dismissed calls for an independent inquiry of what took place in New York’s nursing home’s a “political” pursuit to undermine him.

US Postal Service Warns 46 States of Possible Delay of Mail-in Ballots in November, Letter Reveals

The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in the United States prompted election officials to encourage mail-in voting for the upcoming US presidential election in November, with incumbent President Donald Trump voicing strong opposition against voting by mail for several months, claiming that the practice could lead to “fraud”.

The US Postal Service (USPS) warned election officials in 46 US states and Washington DC that some mail-in ballots might not be delivered in time to be counted in the November election due to new USPS delivery policies and state deadlines for receiving and counting mail-in ballots, a letter issued in late July by Thomas J. Marshall, general counsel and USPS executive vice president, revealed.

The USPS also cited financial troubles, the anticipated influx of election-related mail and the COVID-19 pandemic, which has infected over five million people in the country and killed at least 160,000, as factors that could contribute to a delay in delivery.

“The Postal Service is asking election officials and voters to realistically consider how the mail works,” Martha Johnson, a spokesperson for the USPS, said in a statement.

Key electoral battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida were among those warned by the USPS about a possible delay, according to The Washington Post.

“The letters advised election officials to be mindful of the potential inconsistencies between the Postal Service’s delivery standards, which have been in place for a number of years and have not changed, and the provisions of state law,” Johnson said. “The purpose of the letters was to assist states in educating their voters on when to request their ballots and to return their completed ballots in accordance with the Postal Service’s mailing standards.”

In the letter, the USPS suggested that voters should “submit their ballot request early enough”, and recommended election officials hand blank ballots to voters “so that he or she has adequate time to complete it and put it back in the mail stream” at least one week “before they must be received by election officials”.

“To allow enough time for ballots to be returned to election officials, domestic voters should generally mail their completed ballots at least one week before the state's due date. In states that allow mail-in ballots to be counted if they are both postmarked by Election Day and received by election officials by a specific date that is less than a week after Election Day, voters should mail their ballots at least one week before they must be received by election officials,” the letter read.

Given the financial troubles facing the USPS a few months ahead of November, President Donald Trump offered during a news conference on Friday to approve billions of dollars in funding for the USPS but only if the Democrats agree to unspecified White House priorities.

“Sure, if they gave us what we want. And it’s not what I want, it’s what the American people want,” the president suggested.

For several months, Trump - who, along with his wife, traditionally votes by mail - has repeatedly opposed Americans voting by mail, claiming that mail-in ballots could lead to election “fraud”.

‘Slaughter In Our Streets’: US Attorney Steps In To Give Gunman Who Crippled Philadelphia Store Owner 14 Years In Prison

A Philadelphia gunman who wounded a deli store owner in a shooting with an AK-47 that took place in 2018 has been sentenced to 14 years and three months in prison.

Jovaun Patterson, 31, pleaded guilty to federal attempted robbery and weapons charges back in December of 2018, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The federal charges were brought against him after Patterson pleaded guilty to assault and robbery charges in exchange for a sentence of 3.5 years to 10 years in state prison.

U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain claimed the sentence was an example of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner offering “sweetheart deals to violent defendants.”

McSwain claimed the district attorney’s original plea deal with Patterson “sent a message that violent crime has little consequences.” McSwain also claimed the way Krasner handled the case was “symbolic of a larger catastrophe” in Philadelphia, according to the outlet.

McSwain claimed Patterson could have been walking free soon due to the plea deal cut with Krasner.

“Local authorities had literally bent over backwards to literally give him a break,” he said, according to 6ABC.

McSwain said this case is indicative of the increasing gun violence in the city.

“Last weekend alone 25 people in the city were shot. This slaughter in our streets has largely been met with indifference,” McSwain said, according to 6ABC.

US Justice Department Seizes Millions in Cryptocurrency From Three Terrorist Groups

US federal authorities have seized millions of dollars’ worth of cryptocurrency they say were intended to finance the activities of terrorism, marking the largest terrorism-related confiscation of cryptocurrency to date.

On Thursday, the US Justice Department announced it had seized $2 million in cryptocurrency that was intended to finance the activities of Daesh, al-Qaeda and the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. Federal authorities also seized over 300 cryptocurrency accounts, four websites, and four Facebook pages all related to the terrorist organizations.

“These three terror finance campaigns all relied on sophisticated cyber-tools, including the solicitation of cryptocurrency donations from around the world. The action demonstrates how different terrorist groups have similarly adapted their terror finance activities to the cyber age. Each group used cryptocurrency and social media to garner attention and raise funds for their terror campaigns,” the Justice Department’s statement reads.

“It should not surprise anyone that our enemies use modern technology, social media platforms and cryptocurrency to facilitate their evil and violent agendas,” said US Attorney General William Barr in the DoJ release. “The Department of Justice will employ all available resources to protect the lives and safety of the American public from terrorist groups. We will prosecute their money laundering, terrorist financing and violent illegal activities wherever we find them.”

Justice Department prosecutors said that donations made in such campaigns were not anonymous, and agents with the Internal Revenue Service, Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation tracked and seize all 150 cryptocurrency accounts that laundered funds for the al-Qassam Brigades while also executing criminal search warrants for those who donated money from within the United States.
