I picked up a brand new laptop tonite. On way home 10 assholes on motorcycle surrounded my convertible. Made me stop.

A couple of them got off their rice burners and approached my wide open vehicle.

One started punching passenger side door.

"GET AWAY FROM THE CAR. DON'T MAKE ME DEFEND MYSELF."

Crickets.

More came to the car. Started punching it.

'BACK OFF"

No response

"GET AWAY AND LEAVES ME ALONE. "

Nothing.

The crowd around at me gets bigger as more of these ignorant scumbags get off their bikes and run toward my car.

"IF YOU TRY TO HURT ME I WILL HAVE TO DEFEND MYSELF. DON'T MAKE ME SHOOT YOU, BECAUSE IF I HAVE TO, I WILL."

Ten pieces of shit back off and drive away.

I did not show them any weapon or brandish. They left me the fuck alone.

That is the closest I've come to having to shoot in self defense in my 22 years as a gun owner.

Still shaking a bit.

But it would be saved me. It did save me tonight. Fuck those pieces of shit.

The only reason things deescalated is cuz i threatened to shoot in self defense. They swarmed me like killer bees for no reason.

Don't test a licensed gun owner who threatens to act in self defense. Not even if the licensed gun owner is old enough to be your mother. . . .

Thank you anon. I am venting with y'all because my late fiance, a NRA instructor, died a few years ago. He was the chattiest man I ever met. He could talk more than everyone even me so he often gave me tips on keeping cool and weapons training whenever he was talking.

Gosh, I still miss him. So now I vent here, but that's because here has been home as I've researched for Q a lot.

I was carrying my titanium Lady Smith (a Smith and Wesson 342PD), which weighs only 10 ounces unloaded. It is a .38 and it's loaded with hollow points.

It was on my right hip, and as soon as the first biker punched the car door my hand was on it, but only on the outside of my shirt. I never had to expose it or pull it from the holster but I was ready.

I'm nor sure why they did this, but maybe they were just out on a group ride, looking for trouble.

I was driving the speed limit when they surrounded me. Maybe they thought I was going too slow.

It's at times like that, though, that I am

so grateful for our 2A and its defenders, including Q, Q+, and many of you.

Once I got home I pulled out a shotgun. If these guys got my plate and ever figure out where I llive to come back at me, I'll ventilate them with one trigger squeeze.

Thank you, fren. God bless you, too. I drive with one or two of my dogs at all times, 99% of the time, but tonight I did not cuz i didn't want to leave a dog alone while I picked up the new laptop. I had purchased it 2 days ago and it was getting my old laptop data transferred.

Funny thing is that my old laptop was fine until one of my dogs accidentally drooled on it 2 days ago. I didn't feel like bringing Mr. Drooler out for a ride but if I had the bikers would have probably not even dared to approach.

My late dad was a gun guy, too. We used to talk hypothetical situations and it paid off..

I figure someone could always be recording, so always declare in a loud voice that you want the attacker to back off before you let him have it.

That way any tape that might be made can only HELP a case of self defense, not hurt it.

Always act as though we are being recorded, because we probably are…..
