I dislike close personal conflict, too. Honestly, I think it is a survival mechanism and not a bad one at that. I realized I am not really afraid. I have a history of profound and extreme anxiety, due I believe to some metabolic derangements partially brought on by heavy metal/vaccine poisoning. I literally respond to stress abnormally, as shown by medical tests (cortisol goes through the roof and I cannot calm). It is not fear per se, but self-defense that limits how much I am able to confront people directly to their faces, though dealing with my metabolic health and detoxing has helped considerably.
Though the devil may have hoped my "problem" would work for evil, in the end it will be shown to have been redeemed for the good. I have discovered that people don't listen to the prophets in their homes/communities (read the words of Jesus on this). Instead, it is less threatening for them to hear truths from acquaintances and various media forms.
Keep praying and hold your head up. I'm guessing a lot of us here are in a similar boat. Our apparent isolation will not last long.
