Warning: idle speculation

There are a lot of drugs out there that have a side-effect of suicide risk. I wonder if, in pharmaceutical testing, researchers (or the KGB, CIA or Chinese intelligence) came across a compound where suicidal thoughts were especially common and overwhelming? Such a drug would be very useful to the Cabal.

And even if the overwhelming suicide thoughts effects were not common, if susceptibility could be determined, the Cabal would have a useful tool for selecting people for specific roles. And, as long as the compound remains unknown, it will not be tested for and detected in an autopsy…
