Disney Channel Releasing New Program For Children That Glorifies Demons, Witchcraft, And SatanHAFJanuary 16, 2020

In accordance with its stated agenda of making the “demon realm feel like home,” The Disney Channel is releasing a new program for children called “The Owl House” that glorifies demons, witchcraft, and hell.

According to Disney, the series centers around a teenage girl named Luz who “discovers a portal to another realm where humans are not well-liked, and she must disguise herself in order to fit in at witch school.”

This realm, the kids programming empire says, is referred to as “Demon town,” and in it Luz decides to live with a demon named Eda the Owl Lady who’s “the most powerful witch on the Boiling Iles.

Luz’s character decides during one of the earlier episodes of the show that, “Someday, I’m going to be just like her” – meaning Luz wants to grow up not to be an honorable human woman, but rather a demon witch like Eda.

The purpose of this storyline, of course, is to teach children whose parents let them watch The Disney Channel that being normal human beings is passé, and that it’s “cool” to discover portals that carry you off to hell to live with demons, witches, and even Satan himself.

“Folks, if you think this latest ‘Owl House’ show is just ‘fantasy and fun’ think again,” reads a commentary written by Deborah Bunting for CBN.

“The show tries to portray witchcraft as a positive tool to fight evil,” she goes on to explains.

“That’s similar to what real-life witches have been promoting over the past few years as they’ve been putting hexes on President Trump and others in order to fight for their beliefs.”

Background information

"Covention"

The Coven System is a system for categorizing magic into specific disciplines instituted by Emperor Belos. There are nine main covens with hundreds of other covens beneath them. The educational system trains young witches along scholastic tracks that prepare them for membership in their chosen coven. Each coven and their respective track has an identifying color and power glyph associated with it.

Each of the nine covens is led by a powerful witch who excelled at one of the nine main types of magic. These respective witches studied at one of the most prestigious magic schools such as Glandus High, St. Epiderm, and Hexside School of Magic and Demonics.

Coven membership is mandatory and failure to join a coven is a high order criminal offense. When a witch joins a coven all of their magic is sealed off except the magic of their chosen coven. Annual "coventions" are held, allowing young witches to explore the various covens before making their choice. The highest-ranking coven in the Coven System is the Emperor's Coven, the only coven allowed to use all kinds of magic.

Trivia

A "coven" refers to a group or gathering of witches that meet on a regular basis. It can also refer to a secret or affinity group of associates.

The system parallels the Housing system from the Harry Potter books, with the coven tracks in the Boiling Isles' magic tracks acting like the Houses for students who gather points during the school year.

Background information

Magic is the use of supernatural forces or agents to forecast or control natural events.

It is an additional force of nature that is present on the Boiling Isles.

Contents[show]

Description

Magic, once invoked, has the ability to manipulate other natural forces. A spell, the most basic unit of magic, is an invocation of magic that accomplishes a specific change. A spell can be simple or complex depending on the degree of change the spellcaster is trying to effect.

Magic is not known to be present in the human realm, yet Owlbert's ability to function in the human realm suggests magic to be operating there at some level. Other natural forces exist such as gravitation and electromagnetism, but magic is the only force that appears to be controllable through will alone.

Magic on the Boiling Isles is manipulated through a system of rituals. These rituals restrain and provide order and direction to what would ordinarily be a chaotic force. Witches invoke magic through the use of gestures, incantations, enchanted objects, potions, and elixirs. Witches require extensive education and training in order to master this system allowing them to use magic effectively and safely. This training is accomplished at institutions such as Hexside and Glandus High. Students start training in magic at the kindergarten level and continue to develop their skills across the educational spectrum. As witches pursue their educations they are guided down academic tracks leading to eventual coven membership and magic specialization.

Witches access the magic of the Boiling Isles through a sac of magic bile attached to their hearts that appears to function like a battery akin to the power reservoir of a training wand. It is suggested, however, that this wasn't always the case. Eda has made reference to "wild magic" witches used in ancient times, suggesting the existence of a magic system utilized by witches in the past. This archaic magic appears to rely on runes called glyphs that invoke magic when drawn. Luz Noceda, Eda's human apprentice, does not have a magic bile sac and so does not carry a reservoir of magical power within her. As a result, she has to access the magic in the environment directly through the use of said hidden glyphs in the environment. These glyphs briefly appear in the spell circles of other witches but have long become invisible to them. Luz's presence and training on the Boiling Isles provides a link between wild magic and current magic.

Witch's Apprentice

Object information

Background information

First appearance

"Witches Before Wizards"

A Witch's Apprentice is a novice training in witchcraft directly under a specific witch rather than attending a formal educational or vocational institution. Apprenticeships take the form of on-the-job instruction in magic under a qualified witch in exchange for a contractual period of employment once measurable skills have been obtained. In earlier human times a novice would be indentured to their master for a predetermined period. They would serve their master in whatever capacity was agreed upon during training.

An apprenticeship can also involve a combination of training in a vocational training institution while also working in the trade beside a qualified witch.

Humans (Homo sapiens) are the dominant sentient sapient species on the planet Earth.

Contents[show]

Background

Humans are a fairly technologically advanced species occupying what the witches of the Boiling Isles refer to as the "Human Realm". While humans, witches, and wizards are morphologically similar, there are anatomical differences. Witches and wizards have pointed ears, as opposed to the rounded ears of humans. Witches also have a sac attached to their hearts that contains magic bile from which they draw magical power (humans lack this additional organ). Witches have also shown variation in other features, such as the number of eyes.

Witches are aware of the existence of humans and human culture, but have minimal knowledge of them. Many human artifacts have found their way into the Demon Realm but witches have little to no understanding of what they are or how they function. Regardless, there are those who earn their living trading in these artifacts (ie, Eda). Actual humans are a very rare sight in the Demon Realm. When one does turn up they can become an object of curiosity. While humans and human artifacts are present in the Demon Realm, we've seen no evidence of witches or witch artifacts in the Human Realm. However, the contents of trash slugs suggests the passage between the two realms is bi-directional.

Known Humans

Luz Noceda

Camilia Noceda

Principal Hal

Trivia

Although humans are despised and treated like lesser beings in the Boiling Isles, Luz is able to become popular and well liked. Many witches (like Willow and Gus) are fascinated with Luz and different items from the Human Realm. The latter was the president of a Hexside school club called the Human Appreciation Society, which catalogs human artifacts and culture (however, he was later expelled from the club and replaced by Mattholomule).

Humans can easily penetrate magic barriers ordinarily impenetrable by demons and witches.

There is strong prejudice against humans in this realm.

Giraffes are from the Demon Realm, originally, until they got expelled.
