The requirement is in the Constitution.

The definition is self evident.

But the Constitution does not define "Natural Born Citizen".

And SCOTUS has not, either.

The lower courts all punted every citizenship challenge to Hussein.

"Natural Born Citizen" is a baby born in the US to two, not one, not zero, two US citizens.

So says the 1790 Naturalization Act, which was subsequently superseded.

It granted babies born to two US citizens the same "Natural Born Citizen" if the parents were out of the country on vacation, etc., with carve-outs for excluding Indians and slaves.
