Repulsive research, really. Why is it shocking to anyone that people intuitively distrust "authorities" who lie to them or issue bizarre mandates based on a flu/cold type virus that is only problematic for people who are vulnerable due to extreme age or comorbidity?
This reminds me of when the WHO decided to label "vaccine hesitancy" a top global health concern. Why, oh why don't people want more of our vaccines?! wonders the WHO. Meanwhile, parents are routinely ignored when their children die or are disabled by dangerous vaccines.
