87 "feels like" 98. I remember they started this shit when I was a youngish lad. Before then, the temperature was just the temperature. It occurs to me now that this one little thing was a kind of divergence. Even as a kid I remember thinking "what bullshit".
Its like, every aspect of reality must be managed by the narrative managers. We can't catch one fucking break, from what the temperature is right on down to whether a disease is deadly or not. That is the actual state of things and it makes my head want to explode.
