Local sitrep. Small country town. Grocery store today, first time in over a month. Called ahead of time and came to an understanding with the management. They have "wear a mask" signs plastered all over the front of the store. Asked what they would do if we came in with no mask. Was told very nicely that we would not be harassed. Traitorous governor's illegal orders be damned.

So spouse anon went in while I waited in the car.

A long wait–saw maybe 40 people going in and out. All of them wearing masks except one guy, and he was only in there for less than a minute, maybe delivering something to the lobby. Watched these people who should have enough sense to read something about the scamdemic, mostly conservatives. Some of them drove up with the mask already on, but only a few. Saw a smoker go up to the door, frantically suck down 3 or 4 drags, then pitch the burning cig on the ground, right in front of the door. But hey, he was a good boy and wore the mask. Another guy coming out ripped his off and lit one up as well. No covid for them, no sir, but tar & nicotine, you betcha.

Spouse said that people looked sideways at spouse in the aisles, and moved away as if in the presence of a leper. I said spouse should have walked about repeating, "Unclean. Unclean."

The point of this little blog is to note that people who should have more sense, and not be too lazy to find things out, are almost all wearing their slave masks, and looking askance at sane people. This after 6 months of BS. They are trained! All they had to do was ask management, as I did, and then go with no mask. But not enough guts to go against the herd.
