Barack Obama had cultivated Black Lives Matter support during his presidency. Five police officers were killed in Dallas during a July 2016 BLM protest against police violence. They had been killed by a black sniper who told the police he was targeting white officers.

The president spoke at their funeral. “We have all seen this bigotry in our lives at some point,” said Obama. “None of us is entirely innocent. No institution is entirely immune. And that includes our police departments. We know this.” The day after the funeral, Obama hosted BLM officials at the White House.

The organization that helped raze and loot American cities in the spring and summer of 2020 was a frontline militia as well as a fund-raising mechanism. The “Donate” tab on the BLM website links to ActBlue, a Democratic Party financial instrument that pushed more than $1.5 billion in small donations into the 2018 midterms.

Democratic Party money was also backing an information warfare campaign targeting Trump and his base. In May the press reported that retired general Stanley McChrystal was advising Defeat Disinfo, a political action committee using technology developed to counter ISIS propaganda. Pentagon-funded research had been retooled to sabotage the president’s re-election campaign.

McChrystal had been critical of Trump in the past. After defense secretary Mattis’s 2018 resignation, he praised the retired Marine general and slammed Trump’s plan to withdraw forces from Syria and Afghanistan.

“If you pull American influence out, you’re likely to have greater instability, and of course it’ll be much more difficult for the United States to try to push events in any direction,” said McChrystal.

“There is an argument that says we just pull up our stuff, go home, let the region run itself. That has not done well for the last fifty or sixty years.”

He’d led elite special forces units before being named as commander of US troops in Afghanistan in 2009. He later acknowledged that he didn’t have a plan for Afghanistan. “I wish I did,” he said he told Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“If we pull out and people like al-Qaeda go back, it’s unacceptable for any political administration in the US. It would just be disastrous, and it would be a pain for us,” said McChrystal. “If we put more troops in there and we fight forever, that’s not a good outcome, either. I’m not sure what the right answer. My best suggestion is to keep a limited number of forces there and just kind of muddle along and see what we can do.”

He was relieved of duty in 2010 after the publication of a magazine article in which his staff criticized Vice President Biden. In 2011, McChrystal teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama in an initiative assisting military families.

Rose McGowan Accuses Hollywood Director Alexander Payne Of Sexual Misconduct

Actress Rose McGowan has accused Hollywood director Alexander Payne of sexual misconduct.

McGowan tweeted the accusation of Payne from her personal Twitter account Monday.

“Alexander Payne,” McGowan tweeted. “You sat me down & played a soft-core porn movie you directed for Showtime under a different name. I still remember your apartment in Silverlake. You are very well-endowed. You left me on a street corner afterwards. I was 15.”

“I just want an acknowledgement and an apology,” she added in another tweet along with a headshot of herself. “I do not want to destroy. This was me at 15.”

McGowan did not include any details of the encounter in her tweet. The incident would have occurred sometime in 1988 if McGowan had been 15, which would make Payne 27 at the time of the alleged sexual misconduct.

‘God has not called us to be cowards’: Another pastor stands against church closures

Pastors across California are beginning to stand up against the church closures forced upon them by Governor Newsom.

PASADENA, California, August 16, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ­– California Governor Newsom has been forcing the churches in the state to stop all indoor worship services. But some pastors are saying ‘enough!’

Pastor Che Anh of Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California told LifeSite correspondent Lisa Stover that God did not give us ‘a spirit of fear,’ quoting 2 Timothy 1:7. In that mentality, the network of 162 churches called Harvest International Ministry filed a lawsuit against Governor Newsom, citing First Amendment rights are being violated. After talking with his attorney, Anh decided to open up for services in May.

During these last several months, they’ve battled the courts, as well as individuals calling the police, complaining about the large gatherings. Anh mentions in the video that they’ve been meeting since May without a single case within their congregation. While their physical well-being is important, and they’re taking precautions, he’s very focused on their eternal well-being. “We want to win souls, see people come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that’s much more of a value for us,” Anh shares.

Anh states that during this time, they’ve been able to raise $100,000 to give away to various businesses in LA, California to just say “we love you, we want to bless you.”

The church has also started One Race for Life, a pro-life ministry. They included “race” in the name for two reasons: first, to show the bringing together different ethnic groups together to set the example that there’s no racism in the Body of Christ. Secondly, to talk about how it’s a race against time to overturn Roe v. Wade. Their mission is to encourage everyone to register to vote, and to vote Biblically.

Anh encourages other pastors around California and the United States that there comes a time when we have to exercise our First Amendment rights in this country, “I haven’t broken the law, but the governor has,” Anh says.

As crime soars, Chicago Police Dept. creates special unit to monitor social media for looting

Will they actually prosecute?

As Chicago has faced weeks of increased violence and looting, the elected leaders in the Windy City have faced ongoing questions of whether they are capable of protecting the city's residents and businesses.

In an attempt to quell the public's rising concerns about the city's preparedness and effectiveness in combatting increased crime, Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) and members of city, state, and federal law enforcement announced a new plan to battle looting, WMAQ-TV reported Friday evening.

Social media monitoring

Lightfoot revealed that the Chicago Police Department established a 20-person unit to monitor social media activity that could give clues to future looting plans, WMAQ said, and will watch all open-source sites 24 hours a day.

"As we've seen over these past few months, social media platforms have repeatedly been used to organize large groups of people to engage in illegal activity," Lightfoot said.

Along with the social media task force, the CPD also created a Task Force of Detectives, in conjunction with the FBI, to focus on looting investigations. According to the mayor, the unit is going over video surveillance and compiling evidence to identify looters and put them away.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx promised that people arrested for looting will be prosecuted and announced that just last week, 43 of 44 charges brought to her office for felony approval received approval.

Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown said the city wants "to send a message."

"If you come downtown or to any one of our retail corridors in the neighborhoods of Chicago to loot, CPD is going to arrest you," Brown said, WMAQ reported. "If someone is attempting to break windows to loot, CPD is going to arrest you. If you're going in our stores that have been broken into in attempt to loot, CPD is going to arrest you. If you are carrying or transporting merchandise from a store that has been looted, you will be stopped and arrested.

"We are going to deploy all tactics necessary to prevent and stop looting," Brown added.

What's next?

According to WMAQ, the CPD has canceled all days off and has cops working 12-hour shifts. The outlet also noted that the department is increasing its presence by 1,000 officers.

"We've increased our numbers on the street, on the ground, in our downtown area, in our neighborhoods," Brown said. "That's the number one difference. We have extended hours that our officers work, we have extended the number of days they work in a week by canceling days off. So there is an increase of 1,000 officers above what would normally be here."

Thousands of Bikers and Truckers Ride to New York ‘Back the Blue’ Rally

Thousands of people in trucks and on motorcycles rallied and rode through Macedon, New York, to take part in the county’s “Back the Blue” rally.

Motorcycles, trucks, and cars rode through Bullis Park in Macedon on Sunday morning to show support for local, state, and county law enforcement and appreciation for risking their lives to protect the community, WROC reported.

The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle reported that many of these vehicles were decorated with American flags and signs.

The rally included a parade led by 26 fire trucks from different departments, along with other businesses and organizations supporting the effort.

“Everybody just came together, and it’s incredible, I can’t believe the turnout we have here today,” Co-organizer of Back the Blue Rally Tracy Zornow said.

The peaceful event was to defend and show support for the “unsung heroes” of local law enforcement.

Rep. John Katko (R-NY) was also in attendance at the rally, saying the police should be honored for keeping us safe.

“99.9% percent of officers get it right,” Katko said. “We got to keep that in mind and honor them, who risk their lives every day to keep us safe. But at the same time, if there are officers that aren’t doing a good job, we got to create standards to make sure they do, do a good job or they can’t be officers anymore.

These “Back the Blue” rallies in this city and in others across the U.S. in recent months have joined together to demonstrate their gratitude for law enforcement amid an ongoing national debate about police brutality and accountability.

One “Back the Blue” rally in Massachusetts saw record turnout while another in South Dakota also saw a generous turnout.

In March, we were told that the lockdown would be for a few weeks to help “flatten the curve”. However, on July 6, the New York Post article cited above shows that these policies could drag on for several years. In just six months, the “health” policies have caused a wave of bankruptcies. How much more harm would they cause if they last for several years?

As consumers and businesses default on their mortgages and loans, there could be widespread failures of banks, credit unions, insurance companies and other financial institutions. The International Monetary Fund predicts the worst downturn since the Great Depression. The Minneapolis Fed says unemployment could surge to Great Depression levels. What’s so frightening about these predictions of the “future” is that they have already come true. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, 51 million Americans have been thrown out of work. At stake is the very survival of businesses employing tens of millions of people. These businesses — including some of the biggest corporations in the world — are about to lose.

The other day the U.S. State Department published “Pillars of Russia’s Disinformation and Propaganda Ecosystem“. The report should have a disclaimer like this:

Everything you read in the NYT or hear Rachel Maddow say about Russia is true: Putin is a murderer, a thief and a thug, he shot down MH17, poisoned the Skripals, elected Trump, invaded Georgia and stole Crimea. If you question any part of this, you are controlled and directed by Russian Disinformation HQ.

Freedom of speech does not entitle you to doubt The Truth.

The methodology of all of these things – this is one of several – is uncomplicated. Paul Robinson has commented on the dependence of so much comment about Russia, and this report in particular, on the myth of central control.

Anything anywhere on Russian social media, whether sensible or crazy, was personally put there by Putin to sow discord and weaken us. All social media or websites based in Russia are 100% controlled by Putin.

The Truth about Russia is found in the West’s official statements and in the “trusted source media”. Anyone who questions it benefits Putin, who wants to bring us down, and is therefore acting as a servant of Russian Disinformation HQ.

The argument really is that simple and can be found in its baldest (and stupidest) version on the EU vs DiSiNFO site, The NATO Centre of Excellence is pretty bad while The Integrity Initiative seems to have been embarrassed into silence. Note the “disinfo”, “excellence” and “integrity” bits – that’s called gaslighting. Who funds these selfless truth seekers? The EU, NATO and the British government. But they’re good and truthful, unlike those tricky Russians.

In this particular effusion they look at seven websites, six of which are registered in Russia and one in Canada. The report declares that they are in an ecosystem directed from Russian Disinformation HQ. In reality they are sites in which publish writers who – to take one example – think that it is a bit unusual that a deadly nerve agent smeared on a door handle requires the roof of the house to be replaced. But doubt, these days, is the outward sign of an inward Putinism.

The Strategic Culture Foundation is directed by another Russian intelligence agency, the S.V.R., according to two American officials.

Could these be the officials who told the NYT about the bounties? Or gave it the photos it had to walk back a few days later? Or said their sources had “mysteriously gone quiet?” Or told it all 17? Or said it was probably microwave weapons? Or gave us years of scoops about how Mueller was just about to lock him up? Or told the NYT that Russia’s “economy suffers from flat growth and shrinking incomes“? Probably, but you’re not supposed to ask these questions.

7 Arrested For Toppling George Washington Statue Near L.A. City Hall

Six suspects were arrested after a statue of George Washington was toppled over and vandalized in Grand Park.

On August 13, 2020, around 6:40 p.m., a group of protesters had assembled in the downtown area near the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration building. As officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were in the area due to the protest, they saw numerous people pulling on red ‘bands’ that were tied around the neck portion of the George Washington Statue in Grand Park. The group appeared to be attempting to remove the statue from its’ platform. Ultimately, the George Washington Statue broke from the base and fell to the ground. The group, including the six people arrested, cheered and celebrated as others vandalized and spray painted the statue.

The suspects hid nearby to change the clothes they had been wearing and conceal items in their backpacks in an attempt to avoid detection and apprehension. As they left the protest, they were immediately detained and arrested by Los Angeles Police Department officers at Spring Street and Temple Street.

During the arrest and booking process, officers recovered evidence from the suspects which included a gas mask, laser pointer, helmet, goggles, arm protectors, and change of clothing to conceal identity.

Thousands gather to call for new constitution, ‘real democracy’ in Bangkok, Thailand

Thousands of anti-government protesters took to the streets of Bangkok over the weekend to demand the dissolution of parliament, a new constitution, and reform of the country’s longstanding monarchy.

Protesters are demanding a civilian-produced constitution, as the current charter was drafted by the military while King Maha Vajiralongkorn has received largely unheard-of criticism in recent months. He is accused of consolidating his own power and fortune in absentia, while residing mostly in Europe, contrary to the will of the people.

Eyewitness footage from the scene shows the sheer scale of the crowds who gathered at the country's Democracy Monument, which commemorates the bloodless 1932 revolution which ended the absolute monarchy in the country.

6 Guards Nearly Killed In Sprawling San Diego Prison Riot

Pandering big-city politicians apparently still haven't figured out that letting violent criminals out of prison during an economic downturn, and then not just asking, but demanding, that they wear masks whenever they're in public is a recipe for disaster. But just in case you, dear reader, have recently started to question the progressive orthodoxy that imprisoning criminals during a pandemic is deeply unethical, here's the New York Daily News to remind you just how badly treated prisoners are.

The mainstream press and "liberal" publications would have readers sympathize with the prisoners, and rationalize the riot as an uprising prompted by COVID-19 outbreaks, and the strict measures adopted to prevent them. Prisoners have taken to rioting for better treatment. During a particularly deadly prison riot in San Diego yesterday afternoon (California's prison system is notorious throughout the US for the ruthless gangs that run the state's pens) a group of 20 prisoners surrounded and attacked six prison guards in broad daylight.

While the Daily News report offered scant details on the assault, it's fair to say that the temporarily dominant prisoners savagely bludgeoned and stabbed the group of officers.

The six officers suffered stab wounds, lacerations and possible broken bones and were taken to a nearby hospital. Two inmates were also hospitalized and several others were treated on prison grounds.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation did not immediately return a request for updated information on their conditions.

Such brutal treatment, however, hardly compares to the indignities and depredations suffered by the prisoners on a daily basis. Imagine being told when you can eat, when you can sleep, when you can shower, instead of binge-watching Friends for six hours on a Wednesday while swearing to your girlfriend that you've been looking for work. Two of the prisoners were also hospitalized for wounds sustained during the 'protest', while others were treated at a prison infirmary.

A group of inmates at a San Diego prison allegedly attacked corrections officers in the recreation yard Sunday afternoon, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

About 20 inmates were in the yard at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility around 4 p.m. when “some began an attack on six correctional officers,” prison officials said.

The inmates allegedly ignored directions to stop and officers resorted to “less-lethal measures,” although the CDCR did not specify what said measures include. A warning shot was also fired.

With only 56 trading days and fewer than 80 calendar days to the election, the Deep State camps seeking to torpedo Trump's re-election have reached the do-or-die point.

Back in June I speculated that the only way the Deep State could deep-six Trump's re-election was to sink the stock market rally, which the president has long touted as evidence of his economic leadership.
