Had a good conversation with my 17 yo son today. He ask me if I thought we live in a plutocracy. Bit of background…straight a's since moving in w me, loves and competes in debate, history buff and fav games are strategic. He used to describe himself as an anarchist.

I find his q and my lefty frens q's similar in that they're waking up to how bad things had gotten. What I explain is yes the system was so bad that I even gave up on it, w the tag line that it still had the possibility of rags to riches, no matter how slim or rigged and no other country offered that.

What's different I explained is that the track record or history can not be used as a gauge.

No other president in our lifetime has NOT been a politician, nor a lawyer, nor a businessman, nor a billionaire, nor had his own top notch private Intel agency, nor has worked for free to clean it all up, nor has been unbelievably consistent ALL his decades old interviews on how to clean it up…Yep one can simply not look at the government's track record to judge things now!
