Weslaco police and other law enforcement are at a Walmart on the corner of North Texas Boulevard and Frontage Road in reference to an active situation after several social media posts reported a person with a firearm was spotted inside the Walmart. *
The Weslaco Police Department declined to confirm details of the scene but posted in a tweet sent at 4:10 p.m. that an “incident involving a shooting at Walmart” is under investigation.
