Had to stop in at the post office today, mailing something overseas. Very slow day. One black lady and one white lady. The white lady remembered me from last week when I did the same. Was the only customer in the office. I said to the white lady, hey, remember me, I came in last week to sent something to X country.
She said yes. Told her I made a mistake. Forgot 1 paper. (notice she was wearing her face mask nostrils free, we talked about masks last week). The black lady was handling my mail. Said: 'things going crazy out there'. She agreed. I said what I always say: they failing, we coming out of this better than it has ever been.
Added, and that includes you guys too. You got problems at the top and they're being cleaned up. Was walking away at the time. Then said with my arms spread: heck, every industry has problems at the top. Left them with all 3 of us with big smiles.
