this prohibition was enforced for currency too, until Eunice Shriver's visage was put on a commemorative coin, breaking a long standing protocol. I think she should have insisted it not be on that coin. Being a Kennedy she should have known not to break that protocol! It was a bad blunder and a taint on the Kennedy legacy to break that protocol with that vanity coin.
