I'm going to spend the day saying the pardon won't be for Assange hoping that the opposite happens. It's time we get this show on the fucking road, and an Assange pardon would ensure that.

LOL. I'm not certain there are too many ready to accept that Mueller was secretly working for @POTUS. Even fewer might be on the Comey = Good Guy boat, too. But it's still something within the realm of possibility because we live in a universe of possibilities.
Then again, if we were able to figure it all out, so would the DS. All those debates back and forth over the past couple of years were fun to have, though. The speculation, honestly, was the most fun part for many. In all honesty, I really hope today brings something truly magnificent, because this roller coaster ride needs to come to an end. If it's all about saving humanity, then it's time to act before humanity starts taking its own steps to rest control back from the senselessness being allowed to happen.
You can pardon someone before they are charged. You also don't have to pardon them of all charges, either.
In all honesty, the harder folks push for Assange, the more I'm inclined to think it's not Assange. Not saying I don't hope it's Assange; quite the opposite. However, there's many that would benefit from pardoning someone else. Also, if this move is a complete head fake, I fully expect it to be someone that's deceased.

Esoteric nonsense aside, this is a war. These things have been going on since the beginning of time. If you want to eradicate the problem for the sake of humanity, then you have to do everything you can to preserve said humanity in the process of administering justice by the book. If you don't, it doesn't stick. If it doesn't stick, then expect the networks to crank right up after Trump's second term.
To be fair, anon, I had to come to this realization during COVID. Sure, we had many die during this sham, but all other causes of death rapidly declined. Logic says, then, that this was always a war in the battlefield of the mind instead of the theater of the physical. This is one of the tougher pills to swallow, anon. Nobody is going to be riding down, through the clouds, to come and rescue us. Nobody is going to be raptured up to take us all away from the pain. The problem starts and stops with us. Doing it in a vengeful, wrathful, illegal way is going to ensure that we continue to act/behave in a vengeful, wrathful way.
