>Aug. 18 (UPI) – Pacific Air Forces launched four B-1 Lancers, two B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers and four F-15C Eagles and conducted Bomber Task Force missions simultaneously with joint and allied partners in the Indo-Pacific region over the course of 24 hours, officials said Tuesday.

>Pacific Air Force conducted the Bomber Task Force operations, which started on Monday, to show the United States' commitment to allies and partners in the region, the Air Force said.

>"Our unique strength as an Air Force is our ability to generate integrated actions with our joint teammates and allies and partners to challenge competitors in a time and place of our choosing," Gen. Ken Wilsbach, Pacific Air Forces commander, said in a statement.

>"These simultaneous airpower missions demonstrated our capacity and readiness to deliver a wide range of proactive, scalable options to quickly deploy our forces to support our mission of ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific theater," Wilsbach said.

>The B-1s departed from Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota for the Sea of Japan, where they integrated with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

Sex offender admits to sextortion of over 40 girls as young as 11 in Minnesota, feds say

A Minnesota sex offender accused of “sextortion” of more than 40 girls was sentenced to decades in prison, federal prosecutors say.

Dylan Deling, 21, pleaded guilty last year to charges of child pornography and interstate communication with intent to extort, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota.

Deling used text messages and social media platforms, including Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Kik and Skype, in the sextortion scheme against girls between the ages of 11 and 17, prosecutors say.

Using different usernames and accounts, Deling offered compliments and affection to persuade girls to share sexually explicit images, prosecutors say. He threatened to share and did disseminate the images to their friends and families if the girls refused to provide images, prosecutors say.

He’s accused of threatening to send his “associates” to kidnap, rape and kill the girls or loved ones — showing them screenshots of maps to their homes and contact information.

Nonprofit Bails Out Man Accused Of Beverly Sex Crime: Patch PM

BEVERLY, MA — It's Tuesday, Aug. 18. Here's what Patch has been covering on the North Shore and across Massachusetts today.

A Cambridge-based nonprofit paid the $30,000 bail for a Melrose man with a long history of sex crimes, including a 2018 arrest in Beverly for a crime a prosecutor called, "incredibly disturbing."

The Massachusetts Bail Fund, which seeks to free "individuals serving pre-trial sentences," paid bail for Tyler Jacquard, 34. Jacquard has been in jail awaiting trial since June after being accused of exposing himself to girls as young as 13 at a shopping center in Lynnfield.

Jacquard is described as "dangerous" by officials and has been arraigned more than 20 times for sex offenses. In 2018 he was accused of standing over a sleeping woman in her Endicott College dorm room in Beverly.

The son of Springfield's former longtime mayor was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of 10 counts of encouraging child sex abuse, according to Lane County Jail logs.

Benjamin Daniel Lundberg, 39, of Springfield was arrested by Springfield police at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and booked in Lane County Jail on the potential charges. He has not yet been arraigned on the charges in court.

"Lundberg’s arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation into child pornography involving the Springfield police, the Eugene police as well as other jurisdictions within the state, including ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children)," according to a news release posted by Springfield Sgt. David Lewis on the official Springfield Police Facebook page.

Police served a search warrant at a residence in West Springfield on Aug. 13, the release said. This warrant led to law enforcement taking "numerous digital devices possessed by Benjamin Lundberg."

Mum's horror as son, six, downloads children's game which shows ‘S&M sex scenes'

A mum has spoken of her horror after she discovered a game her son had downloaded on his tablet contained cartoon "sadomasochistic sex scenes".

Rebecca Ward, 32, from Bebington told the ECHO her six-year-old son, Caelan, had showed her the game when confused as to what was going on in a particular scene.

Rebecca said she was shocked to see a cartoon man imagining "kinky, sadomasochistic sex" with a woman while what appears to be a young girl kneels on the floor wiggling her bottom.

She said: “He came over to me and said what does this picture mean? And I was like, oh my god! What are you playing?

“The next scene from that was like a lady teacher sitting at a laptop that said ‘office work’

“You clicked on it and there was a kid tied up on a couch covered in bruises. Just tied up and sitting on a couch.

“I didn’t take a picture of that one but there’s some quite disturbing stuff.”

Rebecca said what worried her was the fact that the game was recommended for someone aged three and over.

She said: “I felt absolutely mortified and quite violated for him as well.

“I don’t want his little eyes seeing things like that.

“I just deleted it straight away and said to him if you see any other games like that come and tell mum.”

Concerned about the inappropriate content in the game, she sent out posts on social media warning other parents.

Rebecca, who owns a sewing boutique, said many of her clients had messaged her to say their children had the game on their tablets as well.

On Google Play, the game has been download over 10M times and is the number one top free game.

What Is QAnon, the Viral Pro-Trump Conspiracy Theory?

If you’re spending a lot of time online these days — and thanks to the pandemic, many of us are — you’ve probably heard of QAnon, the sprawling internet conspiracy theory that has taken hold among some of President Trump’s supporters.

But unless you’re very online, you likely still have questions about what exactly is going on.

QAnon was once a fringe phenomenon — the kind most people could safely ignore. But in recent months, it’s gone mainstream. Twitter, Facebook and other social networks have been flooded with QAnon-related false information about Covid-19, the Black Lives Matter protests and the 2020 election. QAnon supporters have also been trying to attach themselves to other activist causes, such as the anti-vaccine and anti-child-trafficking movements, in an effort to expand their ranks.

QAnon has also seeped into the offline world, with some believers charged with violent crimes, including one QAnon follower accused of murdering a mafia boss in New York last year and another who was arrested in April and accused of threatening to kill Joseph R. Biden Jr., the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has warned that QAnon poses a potential domestic terror threat.

Last week, QAnon reached a new milestone when Marjorie Taylor Greene, an avowed QAnon supporter from Georgia, won a Republican primary in a heavily conservative district, setting her up for a near-certain election to Congress in November. After Ms. Greene’s win, Mr. Trump called her a “future Republican star.”

Ron Meyer’s Affair That Led To His NBCU Exit Said To Involve Actress Charlotte Kirk

Deadline has confirmed from two sources with knowledge of Ron Meyer’s departure today that the woman who the now-former NBCUniversal vice chairman had a consensual affair with was actress Charlotte Kirk. She was also involved with Warner Bros. chief Kevin Tsujihara; that affair leading to his departure from the studio last year.

Earlier today, Meyer acknowledged in a statement about his departure that he had a brief, consensual affair “many years ago.” Meyer, along with NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell, came to the mutual decision that the former’s actions weren’t consistent with the entertainment conglomerate’s policies and values.
