Cali Anon here. Another year, another set of spoopy BS fires. This time, 3 day heat wave to get everything nice and crispy. Followed IMMEDIATELY by gusty winds and dry lightning. Wind ramped up out of nowhere in the middle of the night with several dozen lightning bolts. They seemed clustered. Strange how many fires started in hard-to-reach areas.
