This. Every method has percentage error, and paper ballots were acceptable for over 200 years. Given the Chinese voting machines, there is only ONE reason that people could have for insisting on 'new technology'.

Funny story I will relate again from a few years spent in China. Our office was looking for expansion space, and Anon checked out a vacant space that used to be a mattress factory.
