Implicit in your remarks is the belief that Congress is on the up and up. That's normalcy bias. It isn't. The game is rigged. From the Supreme Court all the way down to the desk jockeys, they don't play by the rules. Psycophaths don't engage in discussion, they sneak around behind the scenes trying to execute dastardly deeds. How do you deal with someone who cheats?
