GOP Group Dumps $4.5 Million to Aid John James Against Democrat

One Nation, an outside political advocacy group, announced on Tuesday that they will dump $4.5 million to aid Republican John James’s bid to oust Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) during the 2020 elections.

One Nation, which is affiliated with the GOP Super PAC Senate Leadership Fund, will run $4.5 million in television, cable, and radio advertising, starting on Wednesday.

Steve Law, the group’s president, said in a statement on Tuesday that the group will promote conservative policies ahead of the elections.

“One Nation is going on offense to promote conservative policies in Michigan that will accelerate our economic recovery and provide opportunities to thousands of Michiganders,” Law explained.

The ads follow as a James internal poll found that the Republican candidate is nearing a virtual tie with Peters.

Another poll released last week found that James trails Peters by only three percentage points.

Abby Walls, a campaign spokesperson for the James campaign, said in a statement last week:

As voters learn more about Sen. Peters it only makes sense they don’t like what they see — 30 years of ineffectiveness and inaction that has left Michigan in the lurch. John James is a leader who will take Michigan in the right direction and who has the experience necessary to protect Michigan and help more people achieve the American Dream.

Peters will also speak before the Democrat National Convention this week and before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee this Friday. Peters, as the ranking member of the committee, will probe the U.S. Postal Service’s operations and budget ahead of the 2020 elections.

James is a black military veteran who has outraised Peters in recent quarters, although Peters holds roughly $3 million in cash compared to the Republican candidate.

Republican John James is near the margin of error in Michigan’s senatorial race against Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), according to a poll released Tuesday.

An internal poll for James’ Senate campaign shows that the Republican candidate is near a virtual tie against Peters; Peters has 49 percent support among registered voters, while James has 44 percent support. The poll has a 4.1 percent margin of error, making the Senate race closing towards a dead heat.

We live in a nation where we are told racism is no longer tolerated. We often see entire careers ruined because statements people made decades ago are taken out of context. However, despite making racist comment after racist comment, Joe Biden always seems to get a pass. He has a record of making inflammatory comments toward black Americans throughout his entire political career, but Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media never bat an eye.

We cannot allow those in power to cover for Joe Biden’s nasty history of racism anymore. It may bring back hard memories for some of us, but I feel it is our duty to go through his history here so everyone knows the truth. We cannot allow this injustice to continue.

Let’s begin in 1975 when then-Senator Joe Biden praised racist Alabama Governor George Wallace. He told The Philadelphia Enquirer, “I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace – someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.” And in his 1988 presidential race, he told people that George Wallace had given him an award and called him “one of the outstanding young politicians of America.”

In 1977, Joe Biden stated that he didn’t want his kids to grow up among other races and that the thought made him worry about the future. In fact, he said, “Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle.” This was followed up in later years with Biden delivering eulogies for segregationist Strom Thurmond in 2003 and former Ku Klux Klan Exalted Cyclops Robert Byrd in 2010.

The list goes on and on, but let’s fast forward to 2020 as Biden continues to let his racist tendencies slip. In May, he told black Americans that if they consider voting for President Donald Trump over them, then they “ain’t black.”

Earlier this month, he asked a black reporter if he was a “junkie” and then followed that up just a few days later by insinuating the black community isn’t diverse. He said, “Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly diverse attitudes about different things.”

As someone who lives in Georgia, those comments hurt. I am proud of this state, but we have lived through a lot over the years – some good and some bad. Some of us can remember the days of Jim Crow that Joe Biden so fondly remembers. As the late great Georgia native Herman Cain often recalled, segregation was a real issue. But we have moved on as a society. We don’t need a potential president like Joe Biden who looks at those demons of our past as something to relish.

Before you go to the polls in November, I ask you to take all of this into consideration. A term often thrown around is “Jim Crow Joe” and for good reason. Joe Biden is a relic of the past who belongs in the past. He can’t help but make racist remarks seemingly every time he makes a public appearance. It’s time to move on from this bygone era of racism and look toward the future where every man and woman in this nation regardless of race has an equal opportunity to live the American dream.

Chinese Hospitals Killed Newborns, Forced Late Term Abortions To Eradicate Uighurs, Doctor Says

Chinese hospitals kill newborns and perform late-term abortions in attempts to decrease China’s Uighur Muslim population, a former doctor from Xinjiang said.

In a Monday interview with Radio Free Asia, Hasiyet Abdulla discussed her 15 years working in Xinjiang hospitals as a Uighur doctor, Business Insider reports. China passed a 2017 law ordering Uighurs and other minorities not to have more than three children in rural areas and two children in urban areas, Insider reports.

Abdulla said families who had reached this limit were forced to abort their unborn babies.

These forced abortions took place when the mother was as late as “eight and nine months pregnant,” Abdulla told Radio Free Asia. She added that hospital staff would occasionally “even kill the babies after they’d been born.”

“It’s an order that’s been given from above, it’s an order that’s been printed and distributed in official documents,” she said. “Hospitals get fined if they don’t comply, so of course they carry this out.”

China has imprisoned at least 1 million Uighurs in prison camps since 2016, Business Insider reported.

The most recent available statistics show that between 2015 and 2018 birthrates in predominantly-Uighur regions of China have plummeted by over 60%, the AP reported. In Xinjiang, birth rates fell almost 24% in the last year alone.

The AP also found that minority women are regularly required to go through pregnancy checks, forced to use intrauterine devices, forced into abortions and sterilization. In Xinjiang, the use of IUDs and sterilization has sharply risen though use these measures have fallen nationwide, the AP reported.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China tweeted in April, “There’s absolutely no ‘religious prisoners’ or ‘detention of a million Muslims from Xinjiang’ in China. We urge the US to stop making political maneuvers & slanders.”
