Goodyear Releases Statement After Leaked Document Shows Company Supports Black Lives Matter But Discriminates Against Trump Supporters and Police

As reported by Cassandra Fairbanks on Tuesday — A slide was leaked from a Goodyear diversity training which brands “Blue Lives Matter,” “All Lives Matter” and “MAGA” attire “unacceptable,” while deeming Black Lives Matter and LGBT slogans to be “acceptable.”

The leaked slide is of their “zero tolerance” policy towards support for police or conservative values.

According to a report from WIBW, the person who took the photo of the slide said that it was presented at a Topeka plant by an area manager and says it came from their corporate office out of Akron, Ohio.

“If someone wants to wear a BLM shirt in here, then cool. I’m not going to get offended about it. But at the same time, if someone’s not going to be able to wear something that is politically based, even in the farthest stretch of the imagination, that’s discriminatory,” the employee told the station under the agreement of anonymity due to fears they could lose their job. “If we’re talking about equality, then it needs to be equality. If not, it’s discrimination.”

Goodyear did not respond to the station’s inquiries about whether or not the slide came from their main office, but said that they allow associates to support “racial injustice,” but not advocacy that falls “outside the scope of equality issues.”

On Wednesday morning President Trump called out Goodyear and called for a boycott of tires from the far left corporation.

Wildfires Rage In California As Emergency Crews 'Stretched Thin', Grid Faces Further Rolling Outages

"Throughout the state of California right now, we are stretched thin for crews" because of the fires, said Will Powers, a state fire spokesman, who was quoted by CBS News.

Powers said, "Air resources have been stretched thin throughout the whole state."

A major wildfire is burning in Solano County, where homes and other structures have been torched.

Kentucky Mayor to Stop Using Goodyear Tires for Police, Fire, and Emergency Vehicles Over Their Anti-Cop Stances

The mayor of Coal Run, Kentucky, has told Gateway Pundit that he will no longer be using Goodyear tires for police, fire, and emergency vehicles in his town over their anti-police policies.

On Tuesday, a photo from Goodyear’s diversity training seminar in Kansas leaked, revealing that they have a “zero tolerance” policy for “Make America Great Again,” “All Lives Matter,” and “Blue Lives Matter” slogans being worn by their employees. Yet, they allow them to wear support for “Black Lives Matter” and LGBTQ causes.

Though they clearly have an anti-cop bias, they market a whole line of “Eagle Enforcer” tires towards police.

Coal Run Mayor Andrew H. Scott told the Gateway Pundit that his officers are outraged over the company’s anti-cop bias and that he will be switching to another company.

Florida Airport Evacuated After Huge 'Live' Missile Found Accidentally Shipped Via Amazon Air

Early this week the cause of a major security incident was revealed which occurred last Friday at an international airport in Polk County, Florida.

Lakeland Linder International Airport was scene of a sudden emergency evacuation when a contractor opened a shipping container to unexpectedly find a massive guided missile inside.

Initial local news reports indicated that airport personnel had no idea how it ended up at a major civilian airport, only that the container also had parts of an aircraft inside and that the shipment belonged to Draken International, a US defense contractor based in the area which focuses on development of tactical fighter aircraft.

Though it's not unheard of that shipping containers belonging to defense firms might have inert missiles in them, in this instance the missile had a "live" warhead, however was not armed.

After the complete evacuation of the airport disposal technicians from nearby MacDill Air Force Base along with members of the ATF and local fire departments were called in to dispose of it. Surrounding neighborhoods also had to be evacuated given the huge size of the ordinance.

Interestingly, the shipment reportedly came in on an Amazon Air flight, with an Amazon Air statement confirming in the aftermath: "The missile has been safely removed from the premises. There is no threat to our associates and Amazon Air operations have not been disrupted."

EU to sanction all those ‘responsible for violence, repression & falsification of election results’ in Belarus

The European Union has announced that it will be placing new sanctions on Belarus, following an emergency meeting to discuss the situation in the country. The move comes after ten days of protests in Minsk and other cities.

Following the video conference, European Council President Charles Michel said that the bloc would impose sanctions on Belarusian officials accused of being responsible for "shocking and unacceptable" acts perpetrated against anti-government protesters.

The penalties will be imposed on a “substantial number” of individuals. EU leaders also collectively agreed that the results of Belarus’ August 9 elections were “fraudulent.”

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said there was unanimous support for the sanctions, and that the economic restrictions will be implemented without “hurting the people of Belarus.” A list of individuals to be included should be adopted “as soon as possible,” she added.

Officials declined to say whether Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko would be targeted directly by the measures.

Von der Leyen said the EU would support a peaceful transition of power in Belarus, and would allocate 53 million euros ($63.3 million) to support civil society and the country’s Covid-19 response.

The bloc also said that it wanted to see new elections in Belarus.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, the main opposition candidate in the disputed election, urged the European Council ahead of its meeting to not recognize Belarus’ the results. She said that a new ballot should be held under international supervision, but stressed that the EU should respect the choice of the Belarusian people.

AdBlock is getting CANCELLED for allegedly making users see an unskippable Trump ad on Youtube

Anti-Trump netizens have begun ditching the AdBlock app en masse, after users reported they couldn’t turn off a YouTube political advertisement sponsored by the president’s campaign.

The online outrage over US President Donald Trump’s campaign ads began on Tuesday, prompting AdBlock – a browser extension that allows adverts to be filtered out online – to trend on Twitter. YouTube videos with titles such as “Did something happen to Joe Biden?” and “Democrats ruined their cities” apparently couldn’t be skipped, blocked or decreased in volume, according to some Twitter users.

Meanwhile, some users reported that the website’s landing page had been taken over by a Trump ad with its audio playing without any visual indication as to where to turn it off.

However, not everybody participated in the panic over a few ads, with other users urging the crowd to “grow up” and stop throwing a “hissy fit.”

The service itself didn’t make any comment on the matter and resorted to replying with a seemingly automated message: “Thanks for letting us know! Our team is looking into it now.”

Trump-supporting black Republican Byron Donalds ​wins hotly contested Florida primary

A black Trump-supporting Florida state House representative has advanced as the GOP's nominee for the state's 19th Congressional District after beating out eight other candidates in a tight election Tuesday.

Byron Donalds won the primary with 23,480 votes — or 22.6% — edging second-place finisher, Dane Eagle, by just 774 votes, the Fort Myers News-Press reported. The district is currently represented by Rep. Francis Rooney (R-Fla.), but Rooney opted not to run again after promising in 2016 to serve only two terms.

Now Donalds will move on to the November general election to face Democratic nominee Cindy Banyai in the heavily Republican district that includes Fort Myers and Naples.

"It was tough and everyone fought incredibly hard, but with a mixture of hard work by ourselves and by our teams on the ground, enough voters saw my record and made a decision I would do a great job representing them in Congress," Donalds told Florida Politics Tuesday night.

Donalds, who grew up poor in Brooklyn, New York, in a single-parent household, moved to southwest Florida after graduating from Florida State University in 2002. He worked in banking and finance before deciding to run for the state legislature in 2016.

In a video posted on his campaign website, Donalds describes himself as "everything the fake news media tells you doesn't exist: a strong Trump-supporting, gun-owning, liberty-loving, pro-life, politically incorrect black man."

Money for Nothing: Merkel’s Germany to Trial Universal Basic Income

German researchers will give 120 people €1,200 a month for three years to see how their behaviour changes, after a study in Finland found that a similar experiment did not encourage unemployed Finns to find work.

Initiated on Tuesday, researchers began the process of opening applications for Germany’s long-term study on universal basic income (UBI), where 120 people will receive €1,200 (£1,080/$1,400) regardless of employment status or financial means.

A control group of 1,380 people in comparable life situations will not be given any money but will be monitored to examine how the UBI test subjects’ behaviour change over time. The My Basic Income association backed the project, which is funded by private donors.

German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) researcher Jürgen Schupp told Der Spiegel on Tuesday that the initiative was not merely an experiment in whether free money makes Germans happy.

“Happiness research has long since proven that more money increases well-being. But we want to find out a lot more: To what extent does such a reliable, unconditional flow of money affect people’s attitudes and behaviour — in relevant areas of life? How do, for example, professional life, daily structure, commitment, diet, or relationships change? And how does that differ depending on age, area of ​​residence, other earnings and so on? That’s a lot of exciting and so far unanswered questions,” Mr Schupp said.

This is not the first time a European Union country has conducted research on giving citizens free money. A project in 2017 in Finland found that giving unemployed people a monthly income of €560 (£490/$634) did not encourage them to find work; however, researchers found that they did feel better than those in the control group that received no money.

Universal basic income has become a major campaigning point for far-leftists in the American Democratic party, including Ilhan Omar, and former presidential candidate and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

Greek Police Seize Weapons and Explosives After Raiding Antifa Squat

Greek police say they found weapons and explosives in an Antifa anarchist squat in the city of Thessaloniki, saying the squat was being used as a base to plot attacks against police and political opponents.

Police raided the Terra Incognita squat on Monday and released a list of items found at the building which has been illegally occupied by far-left Antifa anarchist militants since February of 2004.

Among the items discovered by police during the raid were various containers containing flammable materials, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), firecrackers taped to gas canisters, a fake ID card, helmets and other protective equipment along with electronic devices, Proto Thema reports.

Investigators also found €1,500 in cash and a book listing financial contributions to the anarchist group.

According to newspaper Kathimerini, the squat is believed to be a base for Antifa anarchists and used to prepare attacks against police and others.

The group is said to have been behind attacks on the offices of centre-right New Democracy MPs Stratos Simopoulos and Anna Efthimiou earlier in the year as well as an attack on the home of Achilleas Beos, mayor of the city of Volos.

Earlier this year, police in Thessaloniki foiled an attempted plot to bomb the home of conservative former Minister of State Dimitris Stamatis, arresting two Antifa far-left militants.

The pair, a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were arrested after the man tried but failed to detonate an IED hidden in his backpack. Later police raids in homes associated with the pair saw more homemade explosives and weapons found.

The raid also comes just months after police in Paris raided another Antifa squat, dubbed “Paris HQ Antifa75,” and also found explosive material and dozens of Molotov cocktails.

Antifa violence has grown across many countries in Europe in recent years, with plots to kill police discovered in France and an Italian militant arrested last month in France in connection to the bombing of a police barracks in Rome in 2017.

In Germany, domestic security services have expressed fears that extremist elements within Antifa could begin targetted assassination attempts on both police officers and political opponents in the near future.

Idaho Only State To Bar Transgender Athletes From Women’s Student Athletics. Judge Just Ruled To Block That Law.

On Monday, a judge appointed to Idaho’s federal bench by President Trump issued an injunction to block the state’s “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act,” which had blocked men claiming they are women from competing in women’s student athletics. On March 30, 2020, Idaho Governor Bradley Little had signed the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act into law.

Judge David C. Nye wrote:

The primary question before the Court—whether the Court should enjoin the State of Idaho from enforcing a newly enacted law which precludes transgender female athletes from participating on women’s sports—involves complex issues relating to the rights of student athletes, physiological differences between the sexes, an individual’s ability to challenge the gender of other student athletes, female athlete’s rights to medical privacy and to be free from potentially invasive sex identification procedures, and the rights of all students to have complete access to educational opportunities, programs, and activities available at school …

Despite the national focus on the issue, Idaho is the first and only state to categorically bar the participation of transgender women in women’s student athletics. This categorical bar to girls and women who are transgender stands in stark contrast to the policies of elite athletic bodies that regulate sports both nationally and globally—including the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) and the International Olympic Committee (“IOC”)—which allow transgender women to participate on female sports teams once certain specific criteria are met.

“Nye said that plaintiffs, who include track and field athletes at Boise State University, ‘are likely to succeed in establishing the Act is unconstitutional as currently written’ because, in his estimation, it likely violates the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses of the 14th Amendment,” Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review noted.

Horowitz added:

Nye claimed that Idaho’s ban is “in stark contrast to the policies of elite athletic bodies that regulate sports both nationally and globally” and that separating sexes by scientific designation “burdens all female athletes with the risk and embarrassment of having to ‘verify’ their ‘biological sex’ in order to play women’s sports.”ia

Horowitz referenced Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch’s opinion in Bostock v Clayton County, Ga, saying that the“Idaho judge cited Gorsuch’s Bostock decision as part of his rationale for believing transgenderism is enshrined in the 14th Amendment.”

The coronavirus crisis has sparked the closure of a record number of ATMs and hundreds of bank branches as Australia moves closer towards a cashless society.

The number of ATMs across the nation are at their lowest level in 12 years at 25,720, after at least 2150 terminals removed in the recent June quarter, according to the Australian Payments Network.

Australia's big four banks – ANZ, Commonwealth, NAB and Westpac – also shut up a combined 175 branches in the last 12 months.

The widespread closures have divided public opinion and left 2.5 million elderly Australians who don't do online banking inconvenienced.

Of the 175 branch closures, ANZ had the highest number with 68, followed by the Commonwealth with 44, Westpac had 36 while NAB shut 27.

Westpac removed the most ATMs at 84, followed by ANZ at 73 and NAB at 21 while Commonwealth Bank didn't disclose its number of closed terminals.

The Reserve Bank of Australia’s head of payments policy Tony Richards said most ATM closures were in metropolitan areas in locations such as shopping centres.

'Overall the bank expects the long-term downward trend in the use of cash to continue,' he told News Corp.

Australian Banking Association's chief executive officer Anna Bligh added: 'Australia's banks have invested heavily to keep up with the customers banking preferences with technology and data now playing a key role in how banks do their business'.

Speeches made by US politicians 'have the reading age of a 13-year-old' and have been getting simpler since the 1970s, study finds

Congressional speeches made by US politicians have become simpler since the 1970s and only require the reading age of a 13-year-old to be followed, a study has found.

Computer scientists from Kansas State University analysed two million congressional speeches from Republican and Democrat politicians made from the start of 1873 to the end of 2010 - a total of 138 years of speeches.

Text analysis algorithms were used by the researchers to discover how congressional speeches have changed in terms of complexity, emotion and divisiveness.

More recent speeches use a smaller vocabulary, simpler language and talk about 'the other party' more than speeches made even a decade ago, the authors found.

Researchers compared the vocabulary in the speeches to average US school grade reading levels - for example a 13-year-old would be in eighth grade or UK year nine.

The authors put the drop in the reading level down to the rise of broadcast media in congress that started in the mid-1970s - with politicians 'playing to the camera'.

The study is published as Joe Biden officially becomes the Democratic nominee for President amid dozens of speeches including from former president Bill Clinton who called out President Trump for 'spending hours a day watching TV'.

First Indictment In Obamagate Expected Today But Judge Overseeing Case Is Obama Appointed Head of FISA Court – Judge James Boasberg

Former FBI Attorney Kevin Clinesmith is expected to plead guilty today to altering Carter Page evidence to support the FISA warrant used to spy on the Donald Trump campaign in 2016.

38-year-old Clinemsith altered an email from CIA investigators used to request a FISA warrant and renewals on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.

Carter Page previously worked as a source for the CIA, however Clinesmith falsely said Page was “never” a CIA source.

According to Durham’s charging document (and also in IG Horowitz’s report), “certain individuals” on the Crossfire Hurricane were told in an August 2016 memorandum that Page was a CIA asset — so who else knew?

Despite members of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane team knowing Carter Page was a CIA asset, that information was omitted from the first three FISA warrants on Page.

Clinesmith’s plea agreement is set for today in front of Judge James Boasberg who is currently the presiding judge over the FISA Court.

Israel Opposes US Sales of F-35 to UAE Despite Peace Deal

Jet sales were 'secret clause' in deal

Adding to US arms sales-related talk about the Israel-UAE peace, signs are that the deal was meant to lead to US sales of F-35 jets to the UAE. Israel, however, is warning against that, saying they oppose such sales.

The UAE is bristling at the opposition for a few reasons. They just got done with normalization with Israel, and this hardly seems like Israel acting normal with someone they’re on good terms with. It’s also weird that Israel feels entitled to tell the US which nations they can and can’t sell to.

All indications are that there was a ‘secret clause’ in the deal, which entitled the UAE to buy F-35s and certain drones from the US without objection. This was a condition insisted by the UAE crown prince, and said Israel would no longer object.

That Israel is still objecting could be a problem with the deal, though it remains to be seen if the US will still sell to the UAE, in keeping with the secret clause, or if they will continue with the historical trend of letting Israel dictate who can buy what.

While Trump is keen to spin this as a pro-Israel move, he’s also a big fan of selling arms to the UAE, and that makes this a potentially difficult decision for him to make.

Former FBI Lawyer Kevin Clinesmith Pleads Guilty to One Charge of Making False Statements in Durham Probe

Former FBI Attorney Kevin Clinesmith plead guilty on Wednesday to one charge of making false statements 18 USC 1001 a(3) “makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry.”

Judge James Boasberg who is overseeing the case in federal court in Washington DC has not accepted Clinesmith’s plea yet.
