Activism? When did that become part of the job description in the NBA player? Sounds like that is becoming priority over entertainment to the end user. I am no marketing genius, but you may want to rethink the branding. I am not against supporting what you believe in, but you also have to generate revenue to support the business as well. Numbers don't lie and people are tuning out. People watch follow sports to tune out life for a few hours. Now life is wrapped into the entertainment.
