Just some random thoughts, and I apologize if this has already been brought up. But I think Syria is somehow the key to everything. Damascus is the world's oldest inhabited city. Q refers to a bridge- Ancient Syria was the landbridge connecting three continents. And Q talks of spiders/spiderweb. What if that connects to the ancient spider goddess, Uttu? So what if Damascus is the center of the web?
