Not to mention that this has less to do with politics, and boils down to right vs. wrong, good vs. evil, Patriots vs. traitors, Rule-of-Law vs. orchestrated-anarchy-with-explicit-intent-to-destabalize-country, etc.
Proper Execution just happens to be laid out within the legal-speak of it all, as fitting punishment for crimes that were committed by said traitors.
