Arizona was having some biblical-level thunderstorms last night. 20-30 lightning strikes PER MINUTE, and literally non-stop thunder crashes as a result, coming from every direction. All the local wildlife was absolutely shitting itself: dogs, coyotes, even some birds were rattling their asses off in the middle of the night. I am about an hour southeast of PNX and didn't hear any otherworldly howling, but the storm was the biggest I've ever experienced.
